Data Center Operations and Facility Management
Managing Tier III Primary Data Centre & DR SITE to ensure high availability (exceeding 99.9% uptime) for company’s utilization.
Leading, motivating and managing a team of Data Center Officers in daily operations and their shifts roster management.
Supervising the provisioning of all DC services; including racking & stacking, hardware installation, power and network connectivity.
Provisioning and ensuring the proper functioning of power sources (AC/DC), Fire Suppression Systems, VESDA, UPS, Gensets, HVACs, Air Purifiers, Humidifiers, CRACs.
Responsible for capacity planning, inventory management, budget planning, CAPEX & OPEX.
§  Scheduling and supervising of all Datacenter team projects.
§  Strategized Planning for future enhancements in IT Infrastructure, IT equipment and vendor analysis.
Creating, revising & implementing Standards Operating Procedures for Datacenter Operations.
§  Creating & updating Professional Datacenter Layouts, Network Layouts and Electrical System Layouts in MS Visio & AutoCAD.
System Administration
§  Successfully rolled out global deployments of Enterprise Servers, Storage and Network Equipment’s.
§  Establish, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software’s and system management tools.
§  Up-gradation of Patches & Firmware of Windows Server Environment, FC Switches, Chassis, Storage & Blade Servers.
§  Successfully deployed, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on Microsoft Azure.
§  Maintaining the usage of cloud services and implementing cost-saving strategies.
§  Verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server and network resources, reviewing system and application logs.
§  Administration of HP Super Dome SX3000, IBM Chassis including Blade HS22, HP Chassis C-7000 including Blade 460\620 & Lenovo Flex System.
Backup & Storage Administration
§  Managing a global Backup & Recovery solution for the virtualization clustered environment with multiple remote sites based on Veeam Backup & Replication v9.5, Veeam Enterprise Manager & Veeam ONE.
§  IBM Spectrum Protect (formerly Tivoli Storage Manager) Administration.
Administration of HBL Virtual Tape Library EMC Data Domain appliance DD6300, DD6800 & DD9300 installed in primary and DR sites of HBL

• Data Center planning & designing (w.r.t. IT, Space, Power & Cooling infrastructure).
• Leading and managing a team of 10 Data Center Shift Engineer’s in daily operations, network queries and shift scheduling.
• Optimizing the current infrastructure of Data centers to meet TIA-942 Standards.
• Responsible to ensure Data Center customers network health remains at optimum level.
• Involved in troubleshooting of daily routine routing and switching issues related to customers or network.
• Involved in establishing of NNIs (both layer 2 and layer 3) with international providers..
• Creating & updating Professional Data Center Layouts and Electrical system Layouts in MS Visio & AutoCAD.
• Managing & Proposing Data Center Co-Locations for Customers.
• Providing Data Center solutions & consultancy.
• Responsible for scheduling and performance of all Data Center team projects.
• Responsible for proper performance and metrics of project tasks necessary to ensure the most efficient and
effective execution of all Data Center projects.
• Responsible for analysis of cost, schedule, and performance of the projects.
• Writes and reviews Data Center program-related technical documents.
• Coaches, mentors, and motivates team members influencing them to take positive action and accountability for
their assigned tasks.

Responsible of all Facility & IT Infrastructure, including the data center environment ensuring all customer server environments are secure, operational and being maintained by 99.999% uptime.
Monitoring & Managing of Data center & Network operations include:
• Deployments, Configuration, Management and Optimization of customer network equipment.
• Level 1 & 2 IT & Power support to all DC emergencies & operational queries.
• Aligning contractors & vendors for faults & emergency queries.
• Supervising Preventive Maintenance of Air-cons, FSS, Gensets, and UPS.
• Ensuring that the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are being followed accordingly.
• Generating Trouble Tickets for any operational related issues.
• Generating daily Data Center Status Reports & Shift Reports in timely manner.
• Sharing RCA/RFO for any DC mishap.
• Mounting & dismantling of Telecom & IT equipment (including DWDM, SDH, ODF, Servers, SANs, Firewalls, Switches &
Routers).
• Laying of power cables, fiber cables & Ethernet cables for Data Center according to TIA-942 standards.
• Providing power feeds, earth, groundings & internet connectivity to the installed racks.
• Provisioning and ensuring the proper functioning of power sources (AC/DC), Fire Suppression Systems, VESDA, UPS,
Gensets, HVACs, Air Purifiers, Humidifiers, CRACs.
• Maintaining backup of Access Control Systems, CCTV recordings and Environmental control systems.
• Ensuring that relevant DC environmental parameters are maintained as per standards. (relative humidity, ambient
temperature).
• Creating, revising & implementing Standards operating Procedures.

• Worked closely with members of the R&D team, participate in the development of electrical engineering designs for electronic and electromechanical products that have stringent requirements for size, precision, reliability and cost.
• Produce, troubleshoot and analyze electronic and electromechanical prototypes. Design and fabricate test fixtures for use in product development and production.
