Main Tasks:
Complete daily dispatch as per targets given by the Management.
Targets are achieved by proactively engaging with Transport companies and Sales team simultaneously. Arrangement of orders and allocation of orders and their dispatch; the whole process is supervised and managed by me.
While working I make sure that policies on logistics and procedures are maintained.
I work with direct engagement with transporters and have to provide feedback about activity of each transporter to the manager in the form of analytical report.
I propose actions needed on the basis of analytical report to effectively run the operations.
As a team we struggle to maintain our relations with transporters by frequent visits to their offices or by inviting them at factory office.
In order to fasten the process of supply chain in regions the management formed regional cells. I worked in those cells where all the regional departments under supply chain sat with employees from the head office at one place and interacted face to face to eliminate any kind of dispatch issues and to increase our market share.
