· Working with software development team for deployment of real-time reporting monitoring tools Integrated with M&E systems and MIS system with Google API functionality in the water sector, data interoperability and interactivity.
· Working on M&E framework and system for Ministry projects with realistic target timeline, Monitoring and follow-up performance achieved against targets.
· Working on advance alert/mitigation system in the monitoring deliverables against the activities, aiming the timely completion of activities, quality assurance of outputs/results and cost effectiveness.
· Compliance Monitoring of Government policies, regulations, rules, procedures and practices as per government guidelines relating to the project.
· Conduct initial technical due diligences of 100+ small hydropower plants by assessing the quality and reliability of provided project documents. Identifies inefficiencies in the design process and drives solutions to improve quality and productivity.
· Developed Protocols for factory acceptance test and final testing & commissioning of HPPs of the project. Ability to produce design drawings including one-lines, three-lines, schematics, general arrangements, connection diagrams, raceway drawings, and bill of materials.
· Conducted Factory Acceptance Test of Electro mechanical Equipment like Generator, Excitation system, Microprocessor-based Integrative Automation Control System, High voltage Power Cabinet, Step up Transformer, Governor and In1et Va1ve.
· Inspected, Supervised & Witnessed Testing and commissioning process of Electro mechanical Equipment undertaken by contractors. The Process included Dry Test, Wet test, No Load Tests, variable load to full load test and 3 days reliability test (endurance test).
· Verification of the compliance of test results with the design and reliability requirements. Preparation of inspection reports, certificates, progress reports and site correspondence with the stakeholders. Preparation and follow-up on Punch Lists, Observation Notes with the relevant Contractors.
· Electrical powerhouse and balance of plant controls and power systems. Knowledge of small-scale power generation electrical and control systems (medium and low voltage switchgear and motor control centers, diesel generators, UPS systems, VFD’s, PLC’s, Excitation and Governor Systems).
· Developing Employer Requirements and technical specification of Electro Mechanical works in the bidding Documents. Developing of Operational and maintenance manuals and arrangement of trainings for operators of higher capacity plants.
· Corresponding with MC and contractors in regards of quality issues, instruction of variation orders and progress delay notices. Assisted project director in PC-1 costing/revised costing framing justification for extension of times and contractors claims.
· Responsible for supervision of local Manufacturers of turbine and associated Electrical parts for ACEP Phase I. Closely involved in the liaison between the various electrical and mechanical contractors and also the civil engineering operations as appropriate, to ensure maximum continuity, efficiency, and quality of the Plants.
· Involved in the preparation and appraisal of feasibility studies and related financial analyses; preparation of tariff plans and cost-recovery schemes, design, installation and testing of Mini Micro power plants; and technical training and capacity building in renewable energy.
· Review the present status of project identification, planning and preparation for each segment and assess the maturity of each segment; identify the gaps in the completed and under construction sites and define the segments of infrastructure required to close the Gaps.
· Assessment and appraisal of energy plans, project proposals, tenders and financing schemes. Training and capacity building on energy systems, capacity and energy need calculations.
· Strong desire, ability, and adaptability to learn and solve difficult technical challenges through innovation, dedication, and cooperation. Involved in technology transfer of Mini hydro turbines (Kaplan, vortex and Archimedes Screw) to Pakistan involving local manufacturers, Academia and other stake holder.
Our day-to-day task depends on the type of project we are involved in, but it includes:
· Design mathematical and computer models to research and design new generating sites
· Deciding on the best locations for installations like wind farms, solar panels or hydropower plants
· Designing and selecting equipment needed at site
· Making sure site operation meets environmental standards such as carbon reduction targets
· Analyzing and improving site cost and efficiency
· Assessing and reviewing new and current processes to find the most productive
· Carrying out laboratory experiments and converting them into large-scale industrial processes.
· Assess the potential for developing energy projects (Solar and Hydro) including site survey, analysis and community Mobilization. Prepare feasibility reports to allow project donor to determine project viability (technical, economic, and environmental).
· Electrical load calculation and preparing electrical design of residential solar and water Pumps through HOMER Energy, Pvsyst and Lorentz Software.
· Complete Command on Homer Energy (simulation, Optimization, sensitivity Analysis) and PVsyst 6.39
· Advise and assist community, donor, contractor engineers and suppliers on the design and construction of renewable energy systems (solar and Hydro) and energy efficient facilities.
· Advise and assist community in the design, construction and financing of their own renewable energy and energy efficiency systems. Develop project technical requirements and design assistance for various phases of each project (conceptual design, preliminary design, and final design).
· Conduct design review and planning in system layout, technology selection, bid and proposal evaluation and construction and procurement. Assist in drafting and negotiating procurement, engineering and construction agreements and operations and maintenance (O&M) agreements.
· Provide system startup, performance evaluation, reporting services and project operations support, including project commissioning. Conduct system reliability assessments, site selection and acquisition and securing land rights.
· Assist in Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Impact Analysis, Environmental compliance support and health and safety requirements and pollution control strategies.

• Work with a team of engineers in designing, developing, testing and homologating solar photovoltaic systems, support structures, solar panels, modules, batteries and electric power generation units for residential and light commercial use.
• Prepare all pertinent documentation for each manufactured product like user’s manual, installation manual, operations manual and technical reference manuals.
• Prepare, inspect and assemble solar panels, modules, panels and support structures, as prescribed in the assembly instruction.
• Conduct site inspections to check on work progress and compliance to work specifications.
• Conduct order support and pre-sale design activities to ensure that customer requirements can be met in accordance with product standards.
