The European Union Punjab Access to Justice Project (EU-PA2J) is being implemented in Lahore andsouthern districts of Punjab by Galway Development Services International (GDSI), based in Ireland.The objective of the project is to increase access to justice, especially for poor and vulnerable people,by enabling them to better claim their legal rights through effective legal services and justice systems.Key ResponsibilitiesPromote and facilitate collaboration and linkages between the project and key stakeholders, includingjudges, court administrative staff, prosecutors, bar associations, NGOs and communities.Manage all project activities in the three districtsEnsure on-time submission of regular project reports and other required documentation from multipleproject partnersConduct frequent, systematic monitoring of project activities in districts and local communitiesAssist with trainings, meetings and events, outreach to media, and other activitiesAssist in strengthening the management skills of NGO partners, including their abilities to implementeffective financial, administrative and managerial procedures for project activitiesCoordinate closely with project senior staff and other team members in Lahore in the planning,management and oversight of project activitiesEnsure efficient use of project funds and the accuracy of financial and donor reports.Manage district budgets and expensesProvide administrative and logistical support for the implementation of the projectSupervise periodical household surveys of public awareness and attitudes towards the justice system,baseline and end-line surveys.Design and supervised community outreach, awareness-raising strategy involving communitysessions, street theatres and documentary shows.Lead provincial advocacy dialogues on Case flow Management and sustainable legal aid mechanismswith all stakeholders of project
