• Provided 1,470 break-bulk components for the first phase of construction of the Doha metro project. The heavy items ranged in weight from 50 tonnes to 300 tonnes and included pre-tensioned concrete pedestals, girders and bridging and segment structures.
• Collected beams, segments from fabrication yard and transported between 50 meters and 8 kilometers to the project site by utilizing 34 axle-lines of conventional trailers, three 10-axle extendable semi-trailers, six prime movers and 24 axle lines of self-propelled modular trailers.
• Successfully delivered 126,000 tunnel segments (378,000 tons) in a year for Qatar Rail project using 50 trailers every day at the rate of 350 components per day.
Key Achievements on Building Infrastructure Projects
• Successfully completed the project in 2 years instead of 3, using strategic vision and planning.
