Conduct assessment of all mothers with children under 24 months that attend the OTP program and at the community.
Perform appropriate assessments of IYCF needs and malpractices, and analyze and come up with clear recommendations.
Develop an action plan to improve IYCF practice as per national guidelines and provide technical guidance to the nutrition teams (Nutrition Assistant/Lady Health Visitor/Lady Health Worker/Community Resource Person).
Ensure group counseling of the mother-to-mother support group at the community level (in each village) and conduct it regularly.
Identify model mothers and explore their best experiences to replicate the best practices within the community.
Ensure the setup of breastfeeding corners at each OTP/SFP site established at health facilities.
Provide appropriate counseling and awareness sessions for PLWs, caregivers of OTP/SFP beneficiaries, and mother groups on breastfeeding, complementary feeding, and maternal and child nutrition.
Provide tailored one-to-one counseling sessions based on initial assessments, offering practical advice and education to mothers on the key issues of infant and young child feeding practices.
Utilize the provided education material on breastfeeding and complementary feeding practices, relaying accurate, practical, and specific advice according to the mother\'s needs.
Produce monthly reports regarding IYCF activities and submit them to the project manager on time.
Perform any other relevant tasks assigned by the line supervisor.
Provide day to day PSS activities in the WGSS, based on feedback from women and girls. This includes, but is not limited toProvide age-appropriate GBV case management, including assessment of women and adolescent girlsneeds provide emotional support, basic, crisis counseling (and in some contexts further individualcounseling) safety strategizing and risk assessing development of action plans support in pursuing servicesand support safe, confidential and appropriate referrals in-line with the formal GBV referral pathwaysproviding discretionary assistance (such as transportation, dignity kit items, urgent medical cost) if in-line with internal protocols and eligibility criteria to meet most urgent needs.Support to conduct psychosocial/ group support activities with women and adolescent girls to meet the emotional needs of survivors, build support networks among women/girls, and promote social integration of survivors and other diverse women.Ensure proper documentation and confidential submission of reported GBV incidences through utilization of GBVIMS case intake, action, follow up and other case management forms appropriately.Maintain detailed and confidential case files, ensuring they are carefully and safely stored in the in-line with the Case Management Protocol, data protection protocols, and safety and ethical standards on GBV information management and ensuring the WPE Case Tracker remains password protected.

OTP Nurse in CMAM (Community based Management of Acute Malnutrition) project district Kashmore@Kandhkot and Qambar@Shahdadkot with Johanniter International funded by UNICEF & WFP.
Work Summary:
Work closely with Johanniter and government staffs in setting up OTP/SFP sites and breast feeding corners at BHU or RH.
Register the cases and provide the necessary treatment and counseling as per National CMAM guideline under technical guidance of Nutrition Coordinator.
Responsible for provision of medical and nutritional treatment for severely and moderately malnourished children at CMAM site.
Summarize the list of absentees/defaulter of OTP/SFP beneficiaries and communicate with Outreach supervisors and community volunteers.
Make timely supply requisition and maintain proper stock record as well as proper storage of supplies at OTP/SFP sites.
Work Summary:
Provide OB GYN nurse services to female patients and newborns with illness.
Utilize OB GYN nurse services in childbirth issues.
Obtain medical history of patients and communicate to the consulting physician.
Assist gynecologists and obstetricians in treating mothers and newborns.
Instruct and counsel female patients in preventing illnesses affecting childbirth.
Educate and counsel female patients on birth control and safe practices.
Educate women on pre-natal care issues.
Provide nursing care in delivering babies.
Manage mothers and newborns through clinical and nursing care services.
Coordinate with other nurses and clinical staff in treating newborns and mothers.
