I have done M.Sc (Hons) Agriculture major Horticulture from university of agriculture faisalabad. I have been working as an Agriculture Officer in Balochistan Agriculture Extension and Cooperative Department since August 2018. During my tenure as an Agriculture Extension Officer, I embarked on a multifaceted journey dedicated to improving agricultural practices and supporting local farmers. My role encompassed diverse responsibilities, starting with hands-on fieldwork where I engaged directly with farmers to understand their needs and challenges. One of my primary functions was to provide comprehensive training to both farmers and field assistants, imparting the latest techniques and remedies for the effective control of various plant pests and diseases. Furthermore, I diligently monitored fertilizer shops to ensure the timely availability of fertilizers for our farming community. Additionally, I collected soil and water samples for analysis, enabling us to offer tailored recommendations for soil health improvement. Notably, I played a pivotal role during the National locust emergency as a survey officer, aiding in the identification and mitigation of locust threats. Furthermore, I engaged in flood data collection and orchestrated the distribution of wheat seeds to flood-affected farmers, contributing to their recovery and resilience. My journey as an Agriculture Extension Officer has been both fulfilling and impactful, fostering sustainable agricultural practices and bolstering the livelihoods of countless farmers.
