I graduated from Kohat University in 1st class MBA major in finance in 2006. Besides, I have more than ten years experience in accounting, finance, tax management and administration and held various positions in finance section having worked in both emergency and development programs funded by variety of donors.
Currently working as Finance Officer in Institute of Rural Management IRM Peshawar under Pakistan Reading Project (USAID-PRP-FATA), with the duties to perform full spectrum of accounting functions including Closing of books of accounts, preparation of monthly financial reports, preparation of program and operational budgets, reconciliations of general ledger accounts bank and using of FIS Accounting System, processing of payroll, filling monthly/ annual Income tax returns as per CBR Pakistan rules regulations. Additionally, review of Sub-offices financial reports, monitoring and capacity building of sub-offices staff and providing financial updates/advice to the management. Besides, as a finance officer my duties included ensuring timely management of issues related to banking and transactions, funds management, certifying financial compliance, timely payment to third party and project staff according to Institute of Rural Management IRM financial SOPs. Furthermore, implementation of internal controls and financial policies, capacity building through internal training and orientation to control financial risks were also part and parcel of my duties.
