The position of Account Opening Officer exists for the purpose of developing first relationship between the potential customer and the Bank, which is to be done with due diligence and without negligence in order to safeguard the interest of the Bank while delivering quality services to the customers.MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES1. Fast open of New Accounts as per procedure2. Account maintenance of customers & its processes through CPU/CBD3. E-Statement Request of Customers.4. SMS Alerts Request of Customers.5. Net Banking Request of Customers.6. Issuance of cheque book & their custodianship as per Bank procedure.7. Request & Delivering of ATM/Visa Silver Card/Visa Gold.8. Processing on closure requests received from customers.9. Cancellation of cheque book.10. Mark Zakat deduction status as per Zakat Declaration received from the customer. 1 1. Respond Customer Queries pertaining to change of address and change of signature being received on regular basis.12. Receive information of demise of account holder formally and marking the account as deceased.13. Ensure compliance of KYC and AML manuals.14. Dormant account Reactivation.15. Monthly Balancing of all heads of accounts, i.e., Security Stationery.16. Marketing (Business Development)17. Branch EBO.18. Ensure that all the requirements/ instructions issued by the bank or regulators are fully complied.19. Any other job, which the Manager or Manager Operations may assign.20. Unclaimed Deposit Processing & Record Keeping21. Handling of Marking & Settled of Deceased Accounts.22. Arranged of Insurance Claim in Deceased Account where applicable.
