Working in the capacity of Project Coordinator where my responsibilities entail but are not limited to:
-Managing my department of 50+ resources where I directly report to the Head of Department.
- Coordinating at crucial points and leading from the front when it comes to bypassing roadblocks that are hindering crucial progress.
- Liaison between my department and the rest of the world where there is two-way traffic and I have to channel it all.
- Identifying major issues as they land and escalating them to the relevant teams so to minimize any residual impact through quick reaction.
- Creating Processes, top to bottom to ensure inter-team/department harmony through defined SLAs, documentation, and accountability.
- Creating reports to measure progress and outcome so that any hindrance/challenge can be met with.
- Assigning a task to the relevant resource based on their complexity and resource's capability.
- Looking after internal and external affairs of my department. Including but not limited to Training, Meetings, Follow-Ups, Escalations, and Resolutions.
Database team. Responsible for maintaining the database server where the major development was being performed. That included maintaining the different database scripts that were to become part of the back-end of the project assigned to.
Team Lead for the database team.
Database Development. Responsible for writing procedures and devising new strategies to perform the task at hand.
Functional Specification Documentation. Creating Functional Specification Documents for the New product at hand by translating the Requirement Specification Documents procured from the client into a more visual, technology oriented and focused wireframes on the real implementation with the help of application's architect and the BA's who were responsible for fetching those requirements in the first place.
Release Manager. Responsible for internal version of the product where all the requirements of the stakeholders were met to ensure smooth testing and functionality of the product.
