Mr. Vijay Kumar has got his master degree in Economics from University of Sindh in 2009. He has overall more than 11 years' working experience in development sector. He had worked with Thardeep Rural Development Programme TRDP as a Nutrition Hygiene Educator Under Nutrition CMAM Project From October 2010 to September 2011, He had worked with Shifa Foundation CMAM Project as a Health and Nutrition Educator From November 2011 to Jully 2012,He had worked with PPHI sindh as social mobilizer CMAM Project from 1st July to 31st December 2014,He had worked with Shifa foundation as a community mobilizer and SFP Assistant in CMAM project from 1st February 2015 to 10 October 2015, He had worked with HANDS Pakistan as a team leader in CMAM and ENMC Projects from 12 October 2015 to 15 may 2019, He had worked with HANDS pakistan as a project Associate in WASH project from july 2019 to june 2020 , He had worked with Agha khan university as a Team leader in TPVICS survey from September 2020 to october 2020, He had worked with Shifa Foundation as a Nutrition AssistantCovid-19 Emergency Response project from November 2020 to December 2020, He had worked with ACF international as a Technical supervisor in SMART survey from March 2021 to may 2021.
Facilitate and lead workshops, training sessions, and community engagement activities to build resilience in disaster risk reduction (DRR) projects.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on resilience-building strategies and practices to project participants.
Collaborate with project team members and stakeholders to design and implement resilience-building initiatives and interventions.
Conduct assessments and analyze risks and vulnerabilities in communities to identify areas for resilience-building interventions.
Develop and deliver educational materials, presentations, and resources on resilience-building and DRR best practices.
Support the development and implementation of community action plans for resilience, including risk reduction measures and preparedness activities.
