Job Description:


Review & approve dry cost and BOQ.

Review & approve design concept, design drawings, shop drawings, as built drawings.
Evaluate bidders, finalize, based on comparative statement and assessment reports.
Review materials and drawings submittals with staff & in line with project specs.
Review and approve look ahead programs.
Review projects requirements of manpower, and staff.
Monitoring progress as per program & initiate corrective steps if required to ensure program dates are met.
Assessing the resources requirements in advance & forwarding requisition.
Liaising with Client, Consultant & Project Team.
Follow QA/QC procedures & safety procedures.
Review & raise potential time impact report of variation to employer.
Staff recruitment.
Liaise with Local Authorities.
Optimize usage of plant & machinery.
Review the monthly payment certificates of the Sub-contractor’s work.
Implementing approved & latest method statement, drawings & other technical procedures / documents.
Responsible for the Sub-Contractors allotted to the site, work, output, quality, progress, etc.
Studies & look after Non-Conformance Report.
Ensure compliance to Client snags during handing over.

Responsibilities:


Collection and review of tender, issued for construction drawings for design & preparation of shop drawings as per design & project specifications.

Review & approval of prepared shop drawings in accordance with project specs & local authorities’ standards.
Review and verify material and equipment technical specifications, tender drawings for Electrical bill of quantity (BOQ)
Obtaining approval for shop drawings & material submittals from concerned Consultant
Load Calculations & preparation of schedule for submission and approval.
Estimation & Procurement of material required as per site requirement, project specifications & BOQ
Review of purchase orders & coordination with logistics for the timely material delivery
Coordination between MEP & Civil services/personnel at site for smooth & efficient execution of works
Attend coordination meetings with organization management, consultant, material suppliers, vendors and civil team
Coordination & implementation of all electrical services, especially with specialist contractors for ELV services
Project manpower supervision, planning, management & follow up to ensure smooth execution of all electrical activities & completion as per planned
Report preparations for site progress, manpower histogram, etc.
Ensures that the completed site work conforms to the technical specifications, drawings & contract
Testing, commissioning & troubleshooting, if any, of all equipment & control systems prior to Authorities Inspections & handing over to Client/Facility Management Team

Activities:
