• Designing and developing new control systems for Chillers, Dryers and Dehumidifiers.
• Working collaboratively with design engineers, operation engineers, purchasers and
other internal staff.
• Understanding and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations
and quality standards.
• Providing advice and consultancy support and purchasing equipment.
• Testing, evaluating, modifying and calibrating products/instruments.
• Make decision and resolve issues.
• Testing, maintaining and modifying existing systems and managing operations.
• Set-up, maintain, modify, calibrate, and troubleshoot analog and digital data
acquisition systems , sensors and transducers.
• Perform as instrument engineering coordinator.
• Ensure to procure instrumentation systems as specified.
• Maintain and update instrumentation systems and electronic control.
• Ensure new and current electronic systems complying with latest safety rules.
• Explain electronic measurement arrangement to procedure.
• Prepare engineering technical solutions and client testing requirements.
• To ensure that the systems and processes operate effectively, efficiently, and safely.
• Trouble shooting and problem solving.
• Providing advice and consultancy support.
• Advising on purchasing equipment.
Responsibilities
• Contact the agent and arrange the passes for off shore services.
• Update the time sheet on daily bases.
• Give the service reports to the manager.
• Monitor the labour in the production house.
• Inspection of servicing parts when it arrives in the warehouse.
General Duties
• Attend the different vessels offshore/onshore for servicing, inspection and commissioning.
• Successfully finished the jobs in the given time.
• Make the service reports.
• Attested reports should be handed over to the manager.
• Consider all the safety first.
