My passion is to contribute to the improvement of the humanitarian response with my expertise and improve coordination between the different humanitarian actors. Serve the affected population from war, famine, or natural disaster with high dignity and respect the diversity as an effective team player. My believe in the power of improved policies and systems to ensure the rights of communities in the development and betterment of their lives. This has further enhanced my interest in development initiatives not only by improvement of systems through gap identification but also through assessing the results and identifying lessons for enhanced future programming.

To provide leadership and management (overseeing design, delivery, quality, M&E, and advocacy) of an ECHO-funded Consortium project focused on the provision of multi-sectoral humanitarian assistance to strengthen the COVID19 response in Pakistan. The sectors include Health/Mental Health and inclusion, WASH, basic needs support (multi-purpose cash assistance/vouchers), and evidence-based advocacy.
· Led and managed the overall consortium of six partners with a portfolio of 5 million € to strengthen the capacity of the health facilities by delivering Health and WASH services in COVD19 across 26 districts of Pakistan.
· Management and supervision of operations: Definition of MDM's 2020 - 2022 operational strategy (disengagement from the current project, development of new projects, fundraising, and implementation), management of programmatic, administrative, financial, logistical, and supply chain aspects, implementation, and evaluation.
· Security management: Analysis of the political and security context of the country, updating, and implementation of security and safety measures.
Team management: Overall management of team performance monitoring (national team: thirty-seven people team and guiding on compliance.
Representation: Participation in coordination meetings (Ministry of Health, humanitarian actors, donors, management of relations with the authorities, and mobilization of funds.
Initiation of primary health inclusive DRR program for health facility staff on safety, risk, and resource mapping, and DRR planning. Developed Advocacy Strategy and linked it with the Health Promotion Activities. Formulated Disaster Risk Analysis at the country level and in MdM's areas of intervention.
Key Accomplishments
· Implemented international, national, and local policies/strategies to improve access to health services and build the resilience of the local communities. Successfully managed incorporation of DRR into country strategy and programming. Took an active part in the proposals writing and reporting on the progress of DRR activities.
· Oversaw the country program and managed over twenty projects with a team of Led a team of 12 national staff, within a group of 300 people. Developed quality to mechanism along with guidelines and tools and prepared program implementation strategy of PHC and nutrition. Encourage teamwork to achieve the goal in a fast-paced environment.
· Guided and led the development of 5 years country strategic plan, and resource mobilization strategy leading to the successful acquisition and managing US$ 5 million including 5 years of US$59 million health inclusive DRR program funding from ECHO, DFID, GFFO: a growth from $22 million country funding portfolio.
· Identified and signed a Memorandum of understanding with over 24 both local and international development partners, including MoI, Health department KP.
· Analysis of the context; define priorities and project goals, evaluate project needs (Medical, HR, Logistical and Financial), and provision of technical support to the departments
Assess, define, implement, and supervise all the Health Promotion (IEC) activities in MSF Peshawar Project. Promoting MSF services, increasing knowledge of the target population around their health, support of preventive activities and collaborating to improve the services.
· Oversaw daily activities in the medical center (outpatient medical center, in an IDPs / refugee camp), insisted on meeting MSF’s quality standards. Conducted project planning and strengthened relations with operational partners and local authorities.
· Guided and led the rapid needs assessment and humanitarian response to Dengue outbreak, Leishmaniasis, flood, and refugees’ influx from Afghanistan, and FATA. Presentation of the situation with SMT and HQ.
Performed financial monitoring and ensured that administrative standards were set up and respected.
Developed and printing of IEC material in line with the requirement of the program and dissemination of the material among the targeted stakeholders. Built a team to help execute health strategy in the KP and FATA region.
Responsible to implement the Citizens Voice and Action (CVA) Project in line with WVP national advocacy strategy to empower communities especially children and women, and also give support to all projects in which CV Action and advocacy approach is involved. To lead, manage and promote CV Action approach within and outside the organization with various stakeholders.
To empower communities, especially children and women and other socially excluded groups and minorities ensure that all VWP strategies are aligned with and a mechanism of sustainability is ensured through community and engagement effective engagement for better life of children as World Vision aimed in Child Wellbeing outcome.
· With responsibilities of steering strategic planning and aligning the organizations' strategic choices and sustainable development policies to the country's situation. Maximizing the potential of IRC’s evidence generation and advocacy on protection trends and dynamics in Rawalpindi.
· Program: Program design and coordination of the strategic thinking and operational planning process, steering committee of the implementation, administrative and financial management, management of local and international partnerships.
· Developed and implemented a comprehensive integrated protection strategy (inclusive of WPE, CP and PRoL programming), in line with the country program Strategic Action plan. Developed concept notes and proposals for different donors.
