Principal strategist and visionary leader, direct all production line production as per the plant policies and procedures, plan, implement, coordinate, control, and monitor Utility operations in the most cost-efficient, reliable & safest way.
Plant & Unit Management:

Monitor clay treatment units, Distillation units, Filtration units, chemical handling for pollution skid, air compressors, air dryers, boiler, and cooling tower, also treat aqueous and solid waste generated in the complex as per standards.
Control and optimize Utility consumptions, Utility equipment power consumption & chemicals etc., also monitor the condition of effluent generated in the refinery, also troubleshoot, operation & optimization solid waste.
Exercise hands-on approach and effective controls to prepare the start-up and shutdown schedules for safe start-up and shutdown. Supervision to ensure that these schedules are followed.
Render a keen eye for details to ensure ameliorate the quality of finished products & minimize the cost of Production by minimizing chemical consumption, minimizing oil losses & by managing manpower justifiably.

Preventive & Corrective Maintenance | Health & Safety Standard Compliance

Plan and execute daily breakdown, corrective and preventive maintenance functions, prepare shift schedules, ensure implementation and conduct shift meetings.
Serve as a resource in all efforts to lead the activities of all operations, ensuring adherence to HSE policies and thereby minimizing/reducing environmental and personal damage whilst striving to optimize productivity.
Lead and control shift team and operate the operating plant efficiently and safely in order to optimize output and meet production targets whilst ensuring adherence to stipulated Quality and HSE standards.

Plant Operations: Guidance & Consultancy

Perform duties as a strategic overlay to carry out all the plant operational activities, start-ups, and shutdowns safely as per the SOPs (Standard operating procedures).
Gain invaluable project ownership experience and suggest measures for improvements in existing SOPs and accordingly revise them with approval from Operation Manager.
Instrumental team leader, mentor, and strategist in charge of development and guiding measures or issue guidelines to the maintenance department in troubleshooting & solving plant operational problems.

Reporting & Documentation:

Obtain and heighten skills to generate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports (plan for operational & maintenance tasks), and FIRs (Failure information reports) for all the process plant shutdown/stoppages.
Follow-up material requisitions/purchase orders raised for raw materials, chemicals, and critical spares. Compile the report on critical items required for seamless execution of plant and follow-up with Material department
Update and maintain the report & inventory of Lube oil, Gas oil, and Naphtha diesel storage systems.

Staffing & Human Resource Management:

Engage in cross-division collaboration including shift staff & panel operators to effectively impart on-the-job training, also personally deliver classroom and on-the-job training to all staff and subordinates.
Entrust with the overall responsibility to meet shift production goals, and quality controls, making adjustments as required during a shift to produce products within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.
Research numerous verticals to train and coach production line employees and conduct performance reviews.
Coordinated with Human Resources for appropriate staffing levels and ensure smooth deployment of resources.

Quality Assurance & Control:

Display professionalism, integrity, dedication, and attention to detail to lead the shift routine & non-routine daily operation activities, including troubleshooting and controlling different operating parameters/variables.
Ensure seamless execution of the operation to achieve the required final product quality & quantity.

Operational Excellence:

Identify and rectify the abnormalities of process & equipment, supervise preventive maintenance of pumps, blower, compressor, heat exchanger, PLF & vacuum system & proper housekeeping with safety techniques.
Strong analytical and project management skills, including a thorough understanding and interpretation of business needs and operating within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs). 
Ensure sufficient manpower availability in shifts throughout the year by proper planning of employees’ annual leave/absenteeism and by prompt coordination with superior/HC for timely sourcing as required.
Review and verify the operating data as per the production target plans, including Laboratory analysis of Base oil and other used lubricant oils and operating plant performance to ensure data accuracy.
