I have overall 6+ years' experience in Software Quality Assurance. During my career, I have been working on various system platforms and operating systems like Windows XP and Windows 2007. I have tested various web based applications developed in in .Net, ASP.Net and SharePoint.

As a QA person, Writing Test Plans, created Test Cases, and attended walkthrough meetings with the Business Analysts, Project Managers, Business Managers and QA Leads. Attended requirement review meetings and provided feedback to the Business Analysts. I have worked in different database like SQL server and wrote SQL queries to retrieve data from the database. I have written User manuals and updated FS RTM.

As far as different types of testing is concerned, I have performed Sanity/ Smoke Testing, Functional Testing, Black Box Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, GUI testing and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) Testing.

I have written defects as they are found using BugNet and Redmine. Once the defects were fixed, retested them and if passed then close them. If the defects were not fixed, then reopen them. I have also attended the defect assessment meetings as necessary and a continuous interaction with developers. In the meantime, I have learned Selenium (Record Play) and Axure.

Currently, I am working as a SQA lead on Federal Flood Commission Project and as a Business Analyst Punjab Irrigation project.
