I have been working as Staff Reporter with Pakistan Today at Islamabad office since July 2011 with Culture, Education, and Health as being my focus along reporting for NGOs and social sector, diplomatic activities and city events. My work has been used as a reference in various educational, health and environment institutions and is available on www.pakistantoday.com.pknnEarlier, I have worked as Staff Reporter with Daily Times at Islamabad office since June 2007 to June 2011. In absence of City Chief Reporter, I coordinate with all reporters to produce results as desired by the Editor. All through these years, ministry of Culture, Education, and Health, has been my focus. I regularly cover Art and Cultural activities, Public Sector Educational and Health institutions, Ministry of Youth Affairs, Tourism, Social Welfare and Special Education, Women Development, NGOs, Diplomatic activities, Social Issues and city events. On my stories, many Op-ED pieces have been written while Superior Court sought sou moto action. Many of my work is uploaded on www.dailytimes.com.pknnI have visited Indonesia to participate in a 2 week long Familiarization trip of Tour Operators and Travel Writers from Countries in the South and Central Asian Region to South Sulawesi Jakarta from (April 21- May 4, 2011) representing Pakistan. The trip was arranged by the embassy of Indonesia, ministry of Tourism and Foreign Affairs, Indonesia. As many as 35 members from South and Central Asian countries participated in it. nnI have successfully executed my contract tenure working for National Institute of Folk Heritage (Lok Virsa) and with its project of Pakistan Monument as Sub- Editor (English) and Coordinator for Museum Educational Programme under Ministry of Culture, Government of Pakistan, Islamabad. As a Staff Member at Daily Times, and Trainee Reporter for weekly journals The Smoke and EuroNews, (International Magazines), I have gained tremendous amount of valuable experience through my jobs and practical work in related discipline. nnI have contributed as a Coordinator and Registration Officer during 3rd Annual Sound Light Show at Rohtas Fort, Jehlum. Ive also worked and got spacious knowledge under the administrative machinery of an advertising agency Creative Zone as a Marketing/ Client Services Executive. During all these stints, I concentrated hard to broadening my mental horizon through the extensive practical knowledge imported by a team of professionals. nnSir, I am young, intelligent and energetic with no-excuse attitude and ready to meet any challenging task. I have achieved the top position amongst all students in completion of One-year diploma in Media and Mass Communication. I am a member of Youth parliament of Pakistan, an NGO launched by Abrar-ul-Haq, a renowned pop singer of the country in partnership with the British Council. I have written a number of English poems, articles and short stories that has been published in national dailies and magazines from time to time. I stood at 3rd position in All Pakistan Essay writing Competition 2007 conducted by Quaid-e-Azam Law College, Lahore. nnI have participated in number of essay writing competitions, poetry and sports quizzes and in extra-curricular activities held by different organizations at national levels. I am also serving as a regular freelance writer for online socially interactive web portals, The Pakistani Spectator, Chowk, Pak Village, and for English dailies and weeklies, with exceptional and insightful grasp over a variety of subject matters, ranging from religio-political to socio-economic. I have sound practical knowledge about computer skills and I am capable of delivering beyond my ideas with good interpersonal communication skills.
