I am an energetic and enthusiastic person having experience of social work in various international organizations. Currently, I am working in a Non Government, Humanitarian Organization PPHI Sindh Pakistan through world-renowned approach Children and PLW Nutrition status. I have a good knowledge and good hands-on experience of CMAM and IYCF that are in use for overall community Level and besides having experience in Data Collection and Appropriate Care. I bring with me verity of experiences that spread over the period of three years and Furthermore, I am a willing worker and a team player. Overall broad classification of my expertise is as under Broad understanding of the Infant Young Child Feeding (IYCF) and Practical knowledge of Community Based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM), Planning and monitoring skills ability to organize work projects analytical and conceptual ability communication skills and Community mobilization in the disaster affected areas and dealing with most difficult and conservative communities of community based planning, monitoring and evaluations,Broad understanding of all types of Windows operating Systems,Software and Broad understanding of electronic,print Media ,Disaster Risk Reduction, Working relationships with CRPs,LHSs,LHWs,Community Leaders,Teachers,Imams and supervisors resolves conflict,celebrates success and ability to work in a mufti-cultural environment,establish harmonious and effective working relationships both within and outside the organization.
1. Implementation of Nutrition Program
• Ensure the CMAM and IYCF Programs implemented in the field offices as per the project proposal and Project Work Plan
• Give technical and programmatic guidance for all staffs at the field offices
• Ensure all the components of the project activities are carried out as per national guideline and with high quality standard.
• Guide field staffs to timely prepare weekly and monthly plan towards accomplishing the Annual Work Program (AWP) and monitor the accomplishments accordingly
• Conduct regular monitoring visit to OTP/SFP sites at Union council and also to villages to assess the implementation status of projects activities towards achieving the project objectives in an efficient way.
• Use the necessary monitoring/supervision tools in order to accomplish the nutrition activities in standardized way.
• Organize and attend periodic review meetings at district level and provide feedback to district nutrition teams regarding program implementation.
2. Staff capacity building
• Organize and conduct orientation workshops and trainings for nutrition staffs and other auxiliary staffs.
• Conduct on the job training of Outreach workers, community health volunteers and Lady Health workers activities.
• Conduct training of Community outreach and strengthen referral and follow up mechanism from field to health facility through outreach team.
• Provide technical and programmatic guidance for all nutrition staffs at field offices through regular supportive supervision and coaching.
• Facilitate team members in conducting the activities in uncovered area of Lady Health Workers.

Provide technical support to MCHIP district teams in managing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating MCHIP district nutrition activities.

Responsibilities:
Support and Supervise the development and implementation of a sustainable Health & Nutrition promotion program in the targeted communities and Health facilities:
Identify the areas of need for health & nutrition promotion and education within targeted communities through contact with CRPs, LHWs, LHSs, National program and community representatives, including assessment of knowledge and practices amongst clinics attendants.
Assist in defining strategies how to address the needs of Health & nutrition Promotion in the respective communities in coordination with the LHWs network (via LHSs) and CRPs.
Assist FS&NC in arranging formal and informal trainings for the LHWs and CRP accordingly with the agreed curriculum.
Arrange trainings for field facility staff (DOH and Merlin) and the associated CRPs and LHWs in Health & nutrition Promotion and Communication skills at the level of all supported facilities with a focus on IYCF and BF.
Regular visits to the catchment areas of the support health facilities and collecting LHWs feedback/reports from the LHSs. Regular collection and compilation of health and nutrition promotion activities reports from the LHWS (via LHSs) and reporting further to the FS&NC and DBCC.
Assist the FS&NC and DBCC in preparing visual information materials e.g. posters, leaflets, flipcharts.
Liaise with community representative and members for health & nutrition work and encourage formation of community groups for health and nutrition promotion activities in coordination with LHSs.

Ensure effective management of clinical and other ailments at OTP
Tasks & responsibilities
- Plan and organise OTP at designated distribution sites in liaison with OTP Supervisor and DNPM.
- Work closely with ACF and DoH staffs to ensure all aspects of the programme are understood and agreed and appropriate referrals take place to and from the OTP and the programme is well integrated into the health systems.
- Supervise the activities of the CMAM team (community mobilizers, IYCF Promoters and community Nutrition Volunteers)
- Work closely with the teams to ensure all children are screened correctly
- Ensure all criteria are respected and understood by the teams, including admission, discharge and transfer to and from the OTP/SFP
- Ensure comprehensive health checks and treatment according to the protocols.
- Enusre correct clinical diagnosis at the time of assessment so that the patient receives appropriate treament in the relavant program.

Conduct quality anthropometric measures at the OTP/SFP sites on the referral beneficiaries following the initial screening exercise while ensuring efficient and effective workflow.
Compile, organize and maintain accurate records of beneficiaries referred to the OTP/SFP sites by documenting all the essential information in a hard-copy according to the standard OTP/SFP recording format.
To counsel all the discharged patients for further follow ups through Community Nutrition Volunteers (CNVs).
Work with the outreach teams to develop and maintain a referral system at community level. Engage CNV in referring malnourished children and pregnant and lactating women special attention to the basic health units.
Provide feedback the status of the supplies to the OTP/SFP Supervisor
Responsible for proper handling of weighing and measuring equipments. Ensure scales are properly calibrated at all times and report defects, damage or loss of equipment to the OTP/SFP Supervisor.
Assist in the preparation of reports about the admission, discharge, defaulter, absent, etc throughout the project cycle.
Inform the OTP/SFP Supervisors of any professional problems encountered
Be flexible and adaptable with regards to the implementation of the daily work
Assist in maintain daily stock register and physical count.
