Producing animation involves a number of stages including generating ideas, building models and rigging, skinning, texturing & Environmental lighting.

Computer animation uses software known as CGI (computer-generated imagery).

Tasks typically involve:

liaising with RDXSports and developing animation from their concepts;
creating storyboards that depict the script and narrative;
drawing in 2D to create sketches, artwork or illustrations;
designing product models, backgrounds, sets, characters, objects and the animation environment;
using a range of materials, including modelling defuse, clay, plaster, oil paints, watercolours and acrylics;
developing the timing and pace of the movements of a character or object during the sequence of images and ensuring they follow the soundtrack and audio requirements;
using technical software packages, such as 3ds Max, Maya, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Preimere, Adobe illustrator & Adobe photoshop;
building up accurate, detailed frame-by-frame visuals;
recording dialogue and working with editors to composite the various layers of animation (backgrounds, special effects, characters and graphics) in order to produce the finished piece;
working to production deadlines and meetings for commercial requirements;
working as part of a broader production team, which might include liaising with printers, copywriters, photographers, designers, account executives, website designers or marketing specialists;
dealing with diverse business cultures, delivering presentations and finding funding.

Job Purpose:
Prepares visual presentations by designing art.
Job Duties:
Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
Plans concept by studying information and materials.
Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.
Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; purchasing from vendors.
Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.
Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment.
Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
