With over nine years of experience in the development sector across various NGOs and INGOs, I currently serve as the Senior Project Officer and team leader for the Sukkur region at WWF-Pakistan. In this role, I manage projects funded by IKEA and IDH that aim to enhance rural communities' socio-economic and environmental resilience through alternative income generation and skill development initiatives. My career has been driven by a commitment to sustainable community development, encompassing environmental, social, and economic facets. I hold a Master's degree in Social Science from the Social Work department, which has provided me with a solid foundation for understanding and addressing the complexities of community engagement and development. I am strongly interested in monitoring and evaluation, community development and mobilization, health and well-being, and environmental protection. At the field level, my skills and expertise extend to the implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and data management of projects. Additionally, I excel at engaging stakeholders, including community groups, government bodies, and NGOs, to foster collaborative and effective project outcomes.
• I am Facilitating the implementation of project activities by providing planning and
technical support to the team and engaging with various government and NGO/
INGO stakeholders in Sukkur.
• To ensure the identification and establishment of community-level committees
dedicated to effectively executing project activities at the grassroots level.
• Lead field team, ensuring the effective engagement of each member in project
implementation.
• To train the field trainers team to organize community training on agricultural
practices, food security, and biodiversity conservation practices.
• To assist the field team in following the process of identifying and selecting
beneficiaries for project interventions.
• Ensuring robust engagement with project stakeholders, including Agriculture,
Livestock, PCSI, Forest, and Wildlife departments, and conducting targeted
meetings based on regional needs in Sukkur.
• Engage in training initiatives designed for project beneficiaries in alignment with
project criteria, in conjunction with the community mobilization team.
• Promote E-smart training tools among farming communities to strengthen farmers'
Decision Support System (DSS).
• Maintain proper documentation of field activities (daily & weekly) and submit
fortnightly reports to the line Manager.
• Present the PPT to the project donor monthly or quarterly (Online and physical).
• Project budgeting and make the spending plans as per the annual activity plan.
• Risk assessment and its mitigations
• Facilitate the project donors visiting the project sites on a need base.
• Facilitate the communication department to collect the Success stories from the field
level.
• Coordination with the line manager to smooth the implementation of project
activities as per the Plan.
• Monitor the project team at the field level through different tools and field visits
• Submitting various reports (Technical Project Reports - TPRs, Board Meeting updates
- BM, Program Support Unit - PSU) on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and
annual basis
• Timely reporting and updating the supervisor on any changes to activity plans and
schedules at the field level.
• Co-ordinate with project implementation teams for the effective implementation of
the program’s activities
• Carry out assessments of producer units at the Implementation Plan level
• Undertake shadow verification of the internal assessment process of producer units
• Monitor field implementation of activities against the producer unit Implementation
Plan as per the LFA
• Monitor learning groups training and Farm Advisory Service Delivery to farmers as
per plan and production principles
• Prepare monthly quality assurance report of the project and submit it to the project
and manager QA
• Verify Farmer Categorization and workers’ lists in the producer units
• Issue Corrective Actions to the producer units and keep a record of follow-up of
corrective actions implementation
• Conduct field visits of the project area to carry out monitoring of field activities
• Gather feedback from the beneficiary farmers about the implemented activities
• Work closely with the Manager QA Project Manager/Coordinator and other key
project officers and involved organizations for effective coordination of Quality
Assurance activities
• Support producer organizations to put together a monitoring strategy for all project
indicators and build the database as per the QA requirements of the project.
• Work with the project team and carry out any other activities proposed by the
supervisor.
