Have more than 28 years of working experience, 26 years from which are in banking industry.
During my career as a banker I had the opportunity of working with the best local and foreign banks. During this period I have been deeply involved in Business Development, Branch Operations, consumer banking products and services. I enjoy interaction with people, and have been successful in building relationships which have been beneficial for the the institutions I have worked with.
My last appointment was as Branch Manager in HBL Bank, one of the leading and largest private bank of Pakistan.
Worked As Branch manager, and have been involved in managing a team, and achieving the given targets. Being associated with one of the largest bank has certainly provided me the experince whcih could be beneficail for any organization I get associated with going forward.
Job Responsibilities:
· Deposit mobilisation and achievements of branch targets.
· Developing new business strategies and strengthening the existing business relationships.
· Image building and supervision over maintaining high standard of customer satisfaction
· Supervision and control of banking activities in the branch, in line with the laws of the land
· Providing leadership to the branch staff with effective management control
· Overall maintenance of the branch banking functions
Monitoring and supervising Customer Service delivery, Cash Management, Account related activities, handling of shares subscription, issuance of FDR, SBP reporting, lockers, cheque book, inward/outward clearing, customer statements. Also was the Joint custodian of vault/safe and Backup of Operations Manager.
On 1st May 2002 I was appointed as Finance Assistant in ICMC. During the two years with ICMC I also got the opportunity of working as Finance Manager and Office Manager.
Product Service Delivery, Foreign and Local Remittances, Internal Transfers, Inward/Outward Clearing, Account opening/closing, Central Bank reporting, Sale and encashment of Government Securities, Personnel Management and co-ordination. Major responsibilities also included customer dealing, marketing of banks products and services. During this period I also worked as Service Quality team leader, and Acting Manager of the branch. I had the additional responsibilities of property and security management.
