• Prepare annual budget in consultation with other departments for submission to higher management for review.
• Budgeted P & L for each department, activity and regions, variances in budgeted targets in order to assist remedial actions.
• Implementation of budgetary policies, budget control & implementation through monthly and quarterly variance Analysis.
• Compute and analysis of project costing & conducting portfolio performance reviews.
• Review and analyse product-wise, invoice wise, customer-wise and branch-wise profit and loss on quarterly & monthly basis.
• Create product profitability models to analyse segment & vintage wise performances for optimal P&L Management.
• Responsible for preparation of management accounts on statutory format & monthly reports for management to review company’s fiscal performance.
• Assist the business team in maximizing portfolio profitability. It includes data mining and segmenting the portfolio to identify income avenues.
• Assist the design, development and implementation of ERP, acting as a nexus between MIS & Finance Dept. for the automation of system.
• Lead client audit engagements, which include planning executing, directing, and completing financial audits.
• Begin to develop generally accepted accounting principles and SECP ( Securities Exchange Comission of Pakistan) accounting and reporting rules, where applicable, and financial statement presentation.
• Obtain a thorough understanding Auditing standards and common audit procedures and techniques.
• Supervise, train and mentor associates and interns on audit process. Research and analyse financial statement and audit related issues. Acquire a working knowledge of the client’s business.
• Proactively interact with key client’s management to gather information, resolve problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements.
