“Assistant Mnager” (Maintenance & Repair) in Imlak Transport pvt ltd, near Zulfiqar abad terminal Port Qasim More, Khi. 06 may-2024 to 07-Aug-2024.
Responsibilities:
• Managed all fleet vehicles, trailers, dumpers to progressively operational requirements.
• Implementation preventive maintenance activities of all vehicles, equipment’s etc.
• Monitoring all workshop perform jobs as per procedure and ensure it with the best quality.
• Maintain records of all service and maintenance activities information, daily maintenance as per work order, and reporting for effective repair.
• Coordination from vendors to working cost estimation of work before time, and monitoring of progressing of giving work and parts cost.
• Managed repair working activities of vehicles, trailers, dumpers and giving jobs to supervisors.
• Planed activities of lubricant as engine, transmission, wheel greasing, and assigning to supervisor.
• Performed work on multi cylinders, engines as all kinds of trouble shooting as, excessive heat, Leakages of oil and water, gasket, o-ring or oil seals damaging etc.
• Monitoring of tyres condition as per tyre inspection including wear and tear inflation pressure.
• Trailers prime mover suspension condition monitoring and inspect to secure journey.
• Managed brake down maintenance to different locations and correspondence with the drivers.
• Trailers, dumpers and prime mover body condition monitoring, inspection and if found any defect preparation of work order to timely repair.
• Repairing of parts and major components from out side work shops as per requirements.
• Taking pricing of new and used OEM similar pricing from market and record detailing to purchasing for timely consume.
• Guidance provided to workshop staff for safe and hazardless work at the work place.
• Processed parts requisitions; include follow up on part status, ordering as engine oil, gear oil,
grease, coolant, air, oil and diesel filters.
