Maintenance, monitoring the Program’s petty cashbooks
Receiving all approved payment requests
Entering approved payment requests into accounting software (Aprache and ERP)
Preparation/ lining up of payment vouchers for both cash and bank payments
Registering all payments before issuing them to the vendors and ensuring that receipts are obtained.
Follows up accountability of advances following procedures in the accounting manual.
Processing receipts and sales invoices for Lab incomes
Ensure utility bills are promptly settled as and when they fall due
Files all accounting documents in properly labeled files
Assists in the preparation of monthly bank reconciliations..
Other reasonable duties assigned by the supervisor and / or Head of Department.
Daily Recording of bank receipts for all branches and maintain proper filling of all records.
Correspondence with RMs /BM of branches for timely recording of transactions.
Co-ordination with the external auditors / Internal Auditors.
Knowledge of the theories, principles, practices and terminology of accountancy.
