• To Operate the Units smoothly according to hydrology and design parameters
• Monitoring, acknowledging and identifying the abnormalities of Power house and Switchyard through SCADA
at Central Control Room.
• Operation and maintenance of the plant equipment including, issuing safety work permits, trouble shooting and
condition monitoring.
• Control and maintain auxiliary equipment, such as Cranes, Drainage System, Unit Dewatering System, Compressed Air System, Cooling System, lubricants, pumps, and auxiliary power supply.
• Planning, supervising and monitoring Corrective, Preventive and Scheduled Maintenance work in Power house.
• Handling all types of troubles related to protection and instrumentation.
• Keep close coordination with barrage regulation room and grid personal for smooth operation
• Record and compile operational data, completing and maintaining forms, logs and reports.
• Operation & Switching of (LV & HV) Switchgear
• Developed & Implemented SOPs for Safe Shut Down & Safe Start.
