• Handle conditional base & shut down maintenance as per Oil Industrial Standard.
• Specialized team member for solving and trouble shooting in Electrical equipment used in oil fields.
• Preventive maintenance of HT< Motor ,Transformer ,HT & LT MCC Panels, Breaker, Battery Banks, UPS and Generator, VFD, Soft Starter.
• Provide technical support for operations and maintenance staff.
• Take part troubleshooting of low and medium voltage electrical systems.
• Take part in maintenance of all low voltage and medium voltage power systems associated with oil, water & gas handling facilities. Specifically, 380 volt Motor Control Centers, power distribution throughout plant and process facilities.
• Co-ordinate with field maintenance personnel to evaluate performance & maintenance history of equipment’s, instruments, materials.
• Following all safety practices & procedures and corrected unsafe work practices.
• Conducting field survey, performing routine maintenance undertaking emergency repairs effectively and efficiently, with the help of trained staff.
• Listening to customer’s complaints and eliminating the respective faults in HT and LT cables without interrupting the whole power system.
• Tracing & Troubleshooting faults in underground LT & HT cables, Transformer Loop Cables & RMUs with the help of electrical diagrams.
• Hands on expertise over various electrical tools (Megger, Earth Tester).
• Installation & Maintenance of Street Light Control Panels (SLCPs).
• Studying and understanding of underground & overhead electricity distribution system.
• Underground cables, Transformer’s HT & LT Load Calculations, Transmission lines, Vibration Dampers, Percentage Voltage Drop & Plug Settings.
• Field survey of installed overhead power distribution system for the domestic consumers.
• ACSR HT & LT conductors used in overhead distribution system.
• Studying and understanding of AIS and GIS grid station.
• Installation of Line & Bus Isolators, SF6 Gas Based Circuit Breakers, Lightning Arresters.
• Study of Power transformer, CTs, CBs, Lightning Arrestors, 132KV Bus Bar.
• Study of single line diagrams of 132/11 kV AIS Grid Station.
