i am Dr. Imam bakhsh, a Public health Professional, having MBBS MPH. Belong to District shikarpur, Pakistan. With the intention that I may serve better to needy and ill poor people, I did my MBBS from Liaquqat University of Medical and Health Sciences Jamshoro, Sindh, in 2011. I'd Master of Public Health MPH from Dow university of health sciences karachi, in 2015. I did my house job in Medicine and Surgery for one year at Chandka Medical college Hospital Larkana. During my house job I was actively participating in seminars, case discussions, clinical and preventive meetings, clinico pathological conferences and symposiums. I was also keeping data and records of my patients in OPD and Indoor. Iacircm highly oriented to public health, particularly research. I have worked as medical officer and public health professional with clinical and public health experience in general medicine, paeds medicine Opd ward, infectious diseases and human nutrition .Having sound knowledge of public health practice, public health research, epidemiology of communicable and non-communicable diseases and human nutrition. Interested in working in the areas of Human nutrition, and food security and related projects and programs. A Task oriented, enthusiastic team worker, young public health professional willing to take the responsibility, learn and deliver.
The overall goal of the Nutrition Support Program Sindh (NSP) is to improve the nutritional status of male and female children under five years and that of pregnant and lactating women.
TechnicallyI I lead and implement high impact newborn and child health interventions such as helping babies breathe, use of chlorhexidine, and case management of newborn sepsis, case management of cough or difficult breathing and diarrhoea, Kangaroo mother care etc in the MCHIP supported districts.
Prepare district based annual plans and activity matrix.
Build capacity of SBAs and HCPs on helping babies breathe, use of chlorhexidine, case management of newborn sepsis, case management of cough or difficult breathing and diarrhoea, Kangaroo mother care etc in the district.
Ensure essential supplies and commodities in selected MNCH centers.
Provide on job coaching and supportive supervision to skilled birth attendants and health care provider at health facility level.
Ensure close liaison with partners, district health officials, and implementing partners for the smooth implementation of activities/tasks.
Ensure training database of newborn and child health trainings at district level.
Report routine service delivery data to MCHIP M&E team on monthly and quarterly basis.
Prepare weekly / monthly plans and reports of targeted interventions at district level.
