To conduct key informant interviews (KIIs) and focus group discussions (FGDs) and health facilities assessments (HFAs).
• Data Collection: Conduct field data collection (qualitative and quantitative) using structured questionnaires, interview guides, and other data collection tools such as COBO Collect from various sources including patients, healthcare providers, hospital administrators, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Data Entry: Ensure that all data collected is accurately entered into the database.
• Quality Assurance: Ensuring that data collection tools are administered accurately and consistently. Verify the accuracy and completeness of collected data.
• Confidentiality: Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring the ethical conduct of the research procedures.
• Reporting: Prepare field reports and document any issues or unusual situations encountered during the fieldwork and dessiminate it with Team Leader.
• Coordination: Work closely with various stakeholders such as District Health Office, Deputy Commissioner & Assistant Commissioner Relief, Local NGOs, CBOs, VBO,s and other line departments, Team Lead and other team members to ensure the smooth execution of the data collection activities. Identifying and reporting any challenges encountered during the data collection process.
Deliverables:
The consultants will have an initial meeting with the E4H KP Team for the orientation on assignment, with timelines and specific deliverables the consultant will be responsible to complete under this assignment.
D1: Develop and submit Field Workplan, in coordination with Research team, including planned Daily Schedule of field activities.
D2: Submit Daily field activity report to research team, clearly tabulating list of activities (surveys, KIIs, FGDs, HFAs).
D3: Establish district team channel of communication, in coordination with Research team, and ensure complete and open information sharing.
D4: Monitor and quality-check enumerators, and ensure all gathered data and records are submitted daily (no later than 7 pm).
D5: Prepare End of Survey presentation for debriefing session with CHVA team, providing comprehensive insights from data-gathering activities as well as any other learnings.

Have attended 12-days training on data collection, data collections tools such as (ODK).
Responsible for the smooth transaction of data from tablets and send it to main server.
Become familiar with the cluster where the team will be working and determine the best arrangements for travel and stay.
Responsible to allocate sample households to the enumerators and ensure that all target households are interviewed in the cluster, taking their account into linguistic competence, and ensure that there is an equitable distribution of the workload.
Must ensure timely allocation so that the enumerators can utilize their time most efficiently.
Ensure that the tablets of the respective team members are safe and fully charged each day.
Reports to District Monitoring Officer about field progress on daily basis.
Ensure meetings and discussions with team members on daily basis to address the issues and their solutions.
To identify new household in case of replacement to the enumerators.
Maintain attendance sheet of team members on daily basis.
Command over using Android tablets and applications such as ODK for data collection.
Work under the direct supervision of district monitoring officer and coordinator.
