1.Program Development Develop, implement, and evaluate feeding programs tailored to infants and young children, ensuring alignment with national and international guidelines for optimal nutrition and growth.2.Policy Implementation Translate national and international guidelines on infant and young child feeding into actionable policies and protocols for healthcare providers, caregivers, and community workers.3.Training and Education Conduct training sessions and workshops for healthcare professionals, caregivers, and community members on best practices for infant and young child feeding, including breastfeeding promotion, complementary feeding, and responsive feeding techniques.4.Resource Management Manage resources such as educational materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for the implementation of feeding programs, ensuring adequate availability and quality.5.Monitoring and Evaluation Establish monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of feeding programs, track key performance indicators, and identify areas for improvement.6.Collaboration and Networking Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and community stakeholders to advocate for and promote initiatives aimed at improving infant and young child nutrition.7.Research and Advocacy Stay informed about the latest research findings and evidence-based practices in infant and young child feeding, and advocate for policies and programs that support optimal nutrition and health outcomes for this population.8.Counseling and Support Provide counseling and support to mothers, families, and caregivers on breastfeeding, appropriate infant feeding practices, and nutritional needs during early childhood.9.Crisis Response Develop contingency plans and protocols to address emergencies or crises related to infant and young child feeding, such as outbreaks of foodborne illnesses or disruptions in the supply chain.10.D
