 Involvement in Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning activities of KPD – TAY Integrated Development Project Phase – II

 Practical Work experience on numerous control systems on plant (including ABB 800 x A DCS, ABB ESD System, Siemens S7-300 / S7-400 PLCs, AB SLC 5571 / 5573 PLCs)

 Complete understanding of the engineering documents associated with instrumentation such as logics, P&ID, loop sheets, wiring diagrams installation detail drawings etc.

 Visual inspection of various field instruments of different manufactures present at plant.

 Involvement in Project Engineering, Management, Progress, monitoring, report and remote engineering management and Support.

 Set up the DCS software implementation and techniques as per the project requirement to ensure the quality at different phases of the projects (i.e. From Startup till completion of Site acceptance stages)

 Co-ordination with the end-users / EPC’s during project execution to finalize the DCS software implementation methodology.

 Coordinate & Conduct the Factory acceptance test, Site acceptance test.

 Conduct and Coordinate the commissioning phase of Plant, Provides remote assistance during commissioning.

 Involvement at site during major / critical phases of SAT, loop check, Plant Start-up & Commissioning activities.

 Successfully completed One Month (on job) training on YOKOGAWA CENTUM VP and Prosafe RS at YOKOGAWA Engineering Asia Singapore during internal testing and FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) of OMV Kadanwari Project.

Projects Completed:

Working as an Instrument and Control Engineer on below projects: 1- OMV - Kadanwari Central Facility Control System Upgrade Project.

i- Memguard PLC to transfer smoothly on Yokogawa system. ii- Existing HMI to Yokogawa Human Interface Station, HIS Upgrade.

2- Fatima Fertilizer Company Ltd. DBN & Centum CS3000 Upgrade Project i- A Debottlenecking project was initiated to ease the load of existing plant capacity

ii- Upgrade of Centum CS3000 to Centum VP to increase the life span of the plant assets and to position the company to continue to stay competitive in the market for the coming years.

Job Responsibilities:

 To Assist in Maintenance and Trouble-shooting of various field instrumentation and Control System.

 Complete understanding of the engineering documents associated with instrumentation such as logics, P&ID, loop sheets, wiring diagrams installation detail drawings etc.

 Performed Configurations and Calibration of various Instruments like Thermocouples, RTDS, Temperature, Pressure, Flow and Level Transmitters, Orifice Plates, Rota meters, Ultrasonic Flow meters, Vortex, V-cones, Magnetic Flow meters, Radioactive Level and Density meters, Gas Analyzers and Control Valves of renowned manufacturers such as Fisher, Metso, Rosemount, Siemens, Foxboro, ABB, and Yokogawa etc.

Worked with 9200 Siesmoprobe Velocity transducers, 330500 Velomitor Piezo-velocity Sensors, 190501 Velomitor CR Velocity Transducers and 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System.

 Allen Bradley Control Logix 1756 PLC based control system for 6.5MW centrifugal compressor & also for its anti-surge control. Siemens S7-300 PLC based control system of Stacker Re-claimer and Allen Bradley Micro Logix 1500 based control system of Seal gas dryer and its communication with DCS.

 Thayer Scale based control system of loss-in-weight type gravimetric feed system for oxide coating.
