Technicians collect, label and prepare blood, plasma and other components for transfusions. In addition, blood bank technicians consistently interact with the public, conducting interviews and testing samples to screen potential donors.

follow and assist the Assistant Manager/Charge Technologist in the implementation of safety standards according to Laboratory Safety Manual on daily basis required for own safety and for the safety of others.
Process and co-sign reports, including negative reports of lab tests
Follow safety standards in accordance to the safety manual on a daily basis to provide a safe working environment.
