Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and undertake social mobilization activities in the assigned area through formation and strengthening of community institutions namely community Organization (Cos) Village Organization VOs;and Local Support Organization (LSOs)
· Working closely with the communities through the Cos, Vos and LSOs by remaining engaged with them; facilitating capacity building intervention.
· Developing the VO/LSOs Linkages with other public and private Organizations.
· Developing the Community Activist through regular coordination; capacity developing and facilitating local level decision making and empowerment.
· Coordinating CIF appraisal with LSOs and the District CIF Specialists under the Supervision of the District Manager.
· Coordinating the implementation of Community Investment Fund(CIF) linked innervations by the Community Organization for ensuring a transparent and effective implementation of CIF
· Coordinating implementation of other regular as well as special programs and projects such as infrastructure projects; Health; water Sanitation; Education ; Housing Skill development etc in close coordination of VO/LSO
· Provide regular reports to the District office on the ongoing Programs / Projects in accordance with given formats and time schedules.
· Undertake all relevant documentation relating to community mobilization; CIF appraisal; ongoing programs etc.
