Every year, the University of Karachi\'s Department of Public Administration holds elections for the student council. Many candidates who are currently enrolled in various batches run in these elections for a variety of posts. Additionally, the department administration employs Presiding Officers and a small team voluntarily to oversee the entire election process. As a result, my colleague and I were asked to oversee the election process, run the campaign, and then declare the results. We carried out the following duties while performing this task;
examined the backgrounds and profiles of prospects.
supervised the election process.
exhibited restraint on election day.
Election results were tabulated for each candidate.
elections were declared and appeals were discussed.
final report to the department\'s management was written.
