Currently I am a CA Finalist with 2 Final papers to go which I am keen to pass to become CA as soon as possible.

I have worked 4 years at PWC [A.F. Ferguson & Co. Pakistan] where I had the privilege to work on multiple audit clients of different industries including: Telecom, Manufacturing, NGOs, IPPs, Fund Audits.

I have hands on experience on working, understanding and directly being accountable for revenue sections of above industries, performing analysis, preparing financial reports using spreadsheets of above industries, auditing invoices/processes and systems.

I have also led at multiple times a team of 5, 3 and 2 people as a Senior Auditor for major audit clients. I have also partially deputized a manager role and concluded audit assignments by completing signing conditions, directly engaging with the partner to resolve issues, and getting audit reports and financial statements signed directly from engagement leader.

I have also done free lancing for a few months where mainly I got assignments related to: preparing dashboards, making sensitivity analysis, making business valuations so I have also valuable experience at the financial management/analysis end.

The nature of my profession has groomed me well enough to have in depth understanding and application of various standards/rules and regulations. Especially I have a good understanding of relevant Financial Reporting Standards in an entity because of working in these areas of audit clients.

My overall job experience and professional studies has granted me a well-rounded skill set including value driven organization and communication skills. I excel at:

1- Understanding what is required and then how to deliver the requirement.

2- Focusing on value addition and not wasting time on stuff that does not add any value.

3- Trying to be as useful as I can be in terms of my responsibilities/role.

4- Trying to do the work in a manner so that it is self-explanatory.

5- Being Transparent and clear in my conclusions/results.
