Provided technical support for successful implementation of Prime Minister’s Interest Free Scheme. The main deliverables include business operational planning, selection of partner organization, reporting & monitoring mechanism and capacity building of partners on portfolio management.
Achieve deliverables of USAID Entrepreneurs Project (budget of US $30 million) with respect to value chain finance. Designed an innovative value chain financing model for dairy producers, bank and milk processing company (adopted by FINCA Microfinance Bank and Shakarganj Food Products Limited).
Managed RCDS overall microfinance operations; system building, operation strengthening, strategic and operational business planning, risk mitigation, policy compliance and expansion initiatives. RCDS witnessed 37% increase in active borrowers and 48% increase in business volume during 2011.
Implemented project on dairy value chain development where all tasks of milk handling (production, collection, transportation, sale to end consumer) were managed by farmers themselves (though apex organization of farmers). This model was recognized for elimination of middlemen in dairy value chain
