·       Participate and understand Detail Implementation Plan of the project. 
·       Develop a monthly work plan based on DIP and ensure its implementation in coordination with the Community Mobilizing Officer and approval from the Project Manager.  
·       Assist in the mapping of public health facilities and private GP clinics (general practitioner clinics) in the assigned districts for project activities as per assigned list.
·       Coordination with all stakeholders at the district level and organization of the inception meeting and meetings with area notables.
·       Provision of road map for the GP clinics and hospitals with estimated distances from zero-point/landmark.
·       Lead the process of coordination with the field staff of TB Program partners (Sub-Recipient) of Mercy Corps/National TB Program in the assigned district, Private Healthcare Facilities, Private Labs and other stakeholders for effective implementation of the project.
·       Monitoring and assessment of public and private health facilities for WASH related activities (hard component) in coordination with WASH Engineer and Field Engineer of C 19 Project.
·       Ensure implementation of field activities in the district as per operational guidelines and timelines
·       Responsible for conducting regular visits to assigned hospitals, private healthcare providers and labs to ensure activities take place in time as per the agreed work plan.
·       Assist in developing a list of healthcare providers for Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) and Combined Management of Covid and TB (CMCT) training at the district level.
·       Organize capacity building training of the healthcare facility staff in coordination with the Project Manager and IPC Specialist.
·       Support M & E and Engineers in conducting surveys, and assessments.  
·       Timely submission of monthly progress reports, and activity reports after endorsement from district health authorities/hospital administration/ healthcare providers.
·       Ensure complete and accurate documentation as per the Guidelines and timely submission to the country office.
·       Maintain chronological programmatic and financial data/records including activity photographs, attendance sheets, TA/DA sheets, bills/invoices and field monitoring reports etc. of all the field activities at the district level.
·       Submit programmatic and financial records to the office of all field activities on a monthly basis as per the Operational Guidelines.
·       Support and facilitate field visits from national, provincial and district level stakeholders.
·       Comply with all the Mercy Corps Policies for example Feld Procurement Policies and Procedure (FP3).
·       Any other task or responsibility as assigned by the Project Manager/supervisor.

Responsibilities (DWSS, WASH, COVID19 Response projects)
·     Responsible for close collaboration with technical Unit for conducting technical feasibility in consultation with knowledgeable members of community, provide technical training/guidance for implementation of the project, ensure quality work, timely completion, and develop a maintenance schedule.
·     Responsible for technical assessment of WASH activities for the rehabilitation work
·     Responsible for undertaking field visit for checking of schemes under execution and submit report to the reporting officer.
·     Independently track the contractor progress and facilitate the Project Team for effective decision making, understand the Construction safety and ensure compliance safety standards.
·     Track the contractor progress and pace on daily basis and escalate the gaps in daily & weekly project meetings.
·     To assess the feasibility, prepare the technical reports & specifications for infrastructure investments as required by the project.
·     Administrate payment requests for partners, contractors, suppliers, construction workers etc.
·     Preparation of tender and contract documents for the projects including Drawings, Bills of Quantities, and Request for Quotations, etc.
·     Supervise SRSP’s ongoing construction projects on assigned site.
Ensure that activities of the project are carried out according to the technical design, drawings and BOQs.

esponsibilities (WASH Project)
The Civil Engineer provides technical assistance and expertise with reference to the construction works as well as assessment, Monitoring, and field coordination, ensuring high quality and consistency of work, for the a/m construction works. 
·     Responsible for all engineering, planning, implementation, monitoring and supervision of activities.
·     Track project progress and performance to achieve quality of work.
·     Report and inform Field Engineer and District Team Leader of any work/ progress.
·     Responsible for technical assessment of WASH activities for the rehabilitation work
·     Provide instructions to contractors for material mobilization.
·     Work in close coordination with all key stakeholders including Government authorities, community leaders, beneficiaries, partner organizations, and other providers of emergency relief.
·     Designing of low-cost latrines for Extremely Vulnerable Individuals (EVIs) and Person with Disabilities (PWDs).
·     Deliver trainings to Government Officials, Open Defecation Free (ODF) committee, Community Resource Person (CRPs) committee, village WASH committees on technical solutions.
·     Deliver training to masons on construction of low-cost latrines.
·     Support program team in conduction of WASH/ Sanitation activities in field.
·     Verification of the appropriate standard materials used in activities
·     Ensure timely and efficient monitoring and evaluation of project activities
·     Support in preparation of cost estimates for required materials.
·     Sharing of technical reports with  teams
·     Responsible for the preparation of Bill of quantities of work reporting the progress of work to the senior.
Resolved any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise.

Responsibilities
·     Identification of construction sites with relevant designing in the context
·     Designing integrated work plans in collaboration with teams from other departments/thematic areas
·     Overall supervision and technical support of construction works
·     Monitoring of the construction activities with reports generated regularly
·     Provides training and counseling, as needed.
·     Assures that proper safety standards and precautions are followed.
·     Prepares and maintains records for weekly and monthly reports.
·     Inspects and assures that work is completed properly
·     Identify, Analyze and resolve all technical issues in all files, projects and ensure efficient interpretation of all design drawings and maintain all Quality Control procedures in projects.
·     Coordinate with survey team and prepare work schedule as per construction project to ensure compliance with project drawings and specifications. 
·     Design all work plans and identify and resolve all construction issues on site.
Document all civil field activities and perform regular inspection to check progress of construction works.
