Major Responsibilities:• Facilitate and lead the field team (Community Mobilizers and Nutrition Associates) in the implementation of program activities with particular focus on community activities with children, women and men
• Liaise and work with community groups and project to ensure accountability and best use of project resources;
• Conduct regular field visits and report back on monthly basis;
• To conduct Focus Group Discussion (FGD) in targeted areas.
• To establish the Community Based Organization (CBOs) which represent the group within the community and support the project staff in the implementation of the project activities
• Organize and conduct capacity building Trainings for community.
• Coordinate, implement and monitor projects activities.
• Train and supervise the work of child nutrition services personnel in assigned area(s), make modifications to assignments and set priorities.
• Prepare supporting documentation for and recommend employee recognition and discipline.
• Recommend modifications of work procedures and schedules to meet special needs and conditions.
• Monitor payroll-related record keeping, ensuring proper reporting of time worked and absences of Community Health workers.
• Analyze and compare food orders from school units with available historical data, identify questionable orders, and take appropriate action to reconcile potential discrepancies.
• Utilize automated record keeping software and computers to monitor and maintain records and to generate reports of CWSs.
• Provide basic instruction to subordinates in the use of a computer to perform regularly assigned job tasks.
• Analyze operations for assigned food and labor costs, recommending the implementation of improvements in service, equipment, food preparation, personnel assignments, and facilities.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations and District requirements concerning such matters as sanitation, safety, program administration, and nutritional standards.
• Ensure proper utilization, care, and repair of equipment and follow-up as needed.
• Report operations problems to the Child Nutrition Services Manager
Major Responsibilities:
Through regular, daily, community outreach paired with other team member, build and maintain relationships with communities, including local leaders, different groups, and stakeholders.
Organize information and awareness sessions with women and girls, men and boys in the community to disseminate information.
Service mapping for safety; improving communities’ knowledge on the referral pathway
Create community session materials, seeking review and approval of all materials and resources prior to use, from the Supervisor
Facilitate access, acceptance by the community of IRC teams as well as its activities by the community,
Promote community participation in IRC’s activities
Participate in the preparation and organization of WPE trainings/workshops to be held in the community for community volunteers, focal points, and/or beneficiaries
Establish and strengthen community support networks capacities to plan and carry out their action plans, ensure that the community does what it planned to do and monitor community progress frequently,
Furnish work plan, travel plan, monthly progress reports, feed data to MIS and provides regular feedback to the Manager Community Outreach
Complete attendance sheets for relevant activities and contribute to monthly activity reports, according to guidance provided by the WPE Officer
Maintain positive coordination and relationships with partner and other sector staff.

Skills and Competencies
Understands and speaks local languages fluently, ability to speak and write English.
Demonstrated experience with community work, community mobilization and engagement, and working with women and girls affected by conflict
Excellent listening and observation skills, including ability to create trust, support, respect and interact with women and girls of all ages, background and diversity
Have a good presentation and a respectful attitude towards beneficiaries, local authorities, community leaders, women, adolescent girls, colleagues, and superiors
Knowledge of other local languages of the community, as well as of the cultures and traditions of the community would be an asset
Ability to keep records and write simple and basic reports of activities would be an added advantage
Ability to discuss sensitive issues with respect and empathy
Understand the survivor centered approach and service referrals
Be flexible; be able to work in a team, sometimes under pressure and often in an unstable security environment
Have a sense of organization and a strong ability to manage time
Basic computer skills and familiarity with Word/Excel

Responsibilities
• Responsible to ensure the effective implementation of flood distribution projects and
community outreach activities in the field.
• Implement a micro plan of community outreach activities in consultation with the team
leader.
• Identification and selection of beneficiary communities, household, and individuals as per
set criteria.
• Based on her/his knowledge of the area, collect information through questionnaires,
transect walk, physical observation, and any other information collection techniques.
• Organize and implement beneficiary selection campaigns following the agreed guidelines,
selection criteria and templates designed for the purpose.
• Maintain contact with the beneficiaries and communities during all the stages of the project
implementation, convey their instructions , suggestions, and other messages from the
project management, collect comments, ideas, complaints, and other messages and report
them to the project Coordinator /Supervisor.

• Area mapping to identify the distribution sites in consultation with the community members
