Job Description
The responsibilities of PKSS Academic Coordinator include and is not limited to:
Setting academic targets - for PKSS schools and individual teachers, and helping to ensure they are achieved.
Train all PKSS teachers for effectively delivery the Montessori Method from Playgroup till Grade 3 and guide them in its implementation in classrooms.
Helping teacher develop work plans and lesson plans, and reviewing these periodically.
Management of the examination process including; Scheduling exams; Setting exam timetables; Editing/ composing exam papers; Monitoring the paper checking process; Analyzing and reporting on exam scores/results.
Monitor and mentor teachers throughout the year in adapting to the Montessori program, improving teaching and learning in classrooms, and ensuring student progress; Make regular observation visits to schools; Help teachers by giving demo lessons and monitor their deliverables.
Plan and conduct training workshops as needed.
Any other task assigned by the senior management.
