Description Under the funding of Shell International managing Access to Energy project to boost Livelhood of communities in District Muzaffargarh. My responsibilities are to coordinate with key stakeholders including Provincial Home Department Punjab, District Government, Social Welfare department and security agencies for smooth implementation of project activities. On other hand I am responsible to report and coordinate with country office and donor regarding project progress. Team management, development of DIP (detail implementation plan) and executing activities according to DIP also key responsibility. My Responsibilities included: • Coordination with key stake holders at Government side and organizational side. • Development of project execution plans and strategies • Management of project team regarding day to day field activities. • Representation of organization at district and provincial levels • Orientation and sensitization of staff regarding project goal and objectives. • Development of reporting (quarterly and final) • Facilitation and leading project related surveys with MEL team

Coordination START network member behalf of Mercy Corps. Represent organization in Food Security Cluster under UNOCHA. Oversee the Transforming Surge Capacity-Cash Transfer Programming project as leading organization. The project will contribute to improving efficiency and effectiveness of emergency preparedness and response actions in Pakistan under Food Security and Livelihoods by building the surge capacities of local civil society organizations (CSOs), the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) and local staff of International NGOs. The project will enhance surge capacities by facilitating knowledge-transfer, information sharing and improving inter-agency collaboration on cash transfer programming (CTP).

My Responsibilities included:

Coordinate as lead on START Network initiatives (Drought Financing facility, TSC-CTP etc.)
Represent Mercy Corps on Pakistan Humanitarian forum (PHF), National Humanitarian Network (NHN), UN OCHA, Govt. (PDMA, DDMA etc.) Food Security Cluster and organizational platforms
Facilitate Director Programs in development of proposal to Donors like USAID, DFID, ECHO, Womin Win etc.
Coordination with donor and consortium partners on project tool and implementation plan design.
Work closely with partners to adapt cash transfer programming module adaptation.
Main streaming of gender in program activities through assessments and field trainings

Working as project Manager to supervise a new innovative approach initiated by Coca-Cola and Mercy Corps. This innovative approach is based on ten life skills themes through which developing healthy and active life style among youth with more than 50% participation of young girls and female teachers of ages 12-17 years. The role is to oversee the day to day ongoing project activities. Coordination with internal and external stake holders; including District Coordination office, Education department, The Citizen foundation, Coca Cola focal person etc. Supervise the team of two project officers and one M&E officer.

Under the Funding of European Union 4 years Food Security and Livelihoods program, I am responsible for coordinating the efficient and timely achievement of the objectives. I am coordinating a multidisciplinary team and have a strong role in leading and coordinating different approaches and modalities within the project strategic approach, while ensuring that the mainstreaming of gender, youth and resilience enhancement within the project activities. The main focus of program was to work closely through kitchen garden training, food voucher and cooking demonstration with Pregnant & Lactating Women (Mothers) (PLW’s) and Young females suffering from Food insecure situation.

Worked in 5 districts , where 2 districts interventions were implemented through local partners, and utilized cash resources to support the flood-affected communities in many areas, including rehabilitation of community infrastructure through training with a budget of more than USD 6 million (OFDA-USAID, Scottish Govt and COFRA Foundation-funded).
