Budget and Cost Control:
Assist with monitoring store budget to ensure compliance and highlight possible issues Provide input on the preparation of the budget when necessary Provide inputs on cost reduction for the store.
Internal Control and Audit:
Review the fixed asset register Review the payroll to ensure it is processed accurately and timely Support the process of monitoring stock-checking, sleeping stock, receiving controls and analyzing shrinkage result Provide support during regular audits on CCO to minimize cash flow risks, help prepare a report about required corrective actions and support the store management with solution proposals for improvement Report on the implementation of Internal Audit recommendations.
Reporting:
Support the process of store performance analysis by Departments/Sections Assist with the preparation of business presentations and reports for various stakeholders periodic and ad hoc reports as and when required Aid business analysis and modelling including: Monthly financial closing (budgetary control, P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow) Monthly forecast Annual budget Store turnover Cash flow.
Human Capital:
Responsibilities Proactively identify and seek professional development opportunities to improve leadership and technical skills pertaining to the direct line of work. Provide training and feedback to direct reporters when required. Apply and follow MAF Retail’s Human Capital corporate policies and relevant procedures and instructions.

*Forecasted trends and recommended improvements based on financial risk analysis. *Processed invoices and contacted appropriate parties for timely payment receipt. *Supported pension program rollout following targeted analysis and research.  *Manage petty cash and payroll and deal with legal work of the firm and bookkeeping. *Bookkeeping and preparing a sales tax record on a spread sheet.                  *Oversee transaction and general ledger account reconciliation processes.    *Participate in a monthly stock take with the operations team.                        *Prepare a group accounts audit pack for the half-year audit.                      *Maintained Account Receivable and Account Payable.
