Under the oversight of Food Security & Livelihood (FSL) Specialist and supervision of Senior Project officer, the Livestock Officer is responsible for the daily technical planning, supervision, monitoring and reporting of the FSL activities.
Advice the team on the formation of Livestock Agriculture strategy in the district assigned, including where to focus program resources, how to develop operational relationships, as well as how to address programmatic challenges.
Monitor and report to SPO the changing environment and thereby pro-actively contribute to evolving Livestock Agriculture strategy in response to the ground realities.
Establish and oversee the consultative processes with regard to agriculture between the GoP district level structures by encouraging local government officials to participate in meetings, as well as participate in the monitoring of project implementation at the site, thus ensuring visible and tangible ownership of the program by the GoP and increasing positive interactions between the government and community.
Actively engage in the beneficiary selection process under the guidance of SPO.
To conduct household visits, focus group discussions and key informant interviews upon the request of SPO.
Coordinate and Lead the activities in food security and livelihoods
Build the capacity of target beneficiaries to develop Good animal production practices and better production technologies.
Provide support to the Senior Project Officer in the design of the trainings to be provided to food security and livelihood programme.
Plan, organize and conduct training and orientation activities for Village Committees and beneficiaries, for the Agri&Livestock Services.
Contribute to and/or carry out the rapid needs assessments on key FSL Activates during the project lifecycle to investigate further opportunities for interventions.
Frequently visit Project Areas to carry out process on Agriculture and livestock Activities based on minimum standards and output level indicators.
Coordinate and facilitate monitoring of ongoing projects with the Monitoring and Evaluation Unit.
File, document and report work progress to his/her line manager on weekly basis
Regular reporting of work progress to the Project Officer.

• To develop training contents, module and related material including Pre&Post assessment questionnaire
• To coordinate with beneficiaries to ensure their participation in trainings
• To conduct the capacity building sessions of farmers groups on dairy husbandry practices, Nutrition on dairy herd, feed fodder and its preservation.
• To conduct hands-on training of target small holder farmers in calf rearing, drinking water management, disease control techniques especially mastitis control
• To conduct practical demonstration for fodder calander preparation, fodder agronomy and fodder preservation techniques.
• To conduct a practical demonstration on wanda formulation, storage and feeding regime
• To conduct hands-on training for calves rearing that include daily milk feeding, watering and weekly weighting techniques.
• To conduct the follow up visits of livestock activities in the field.
• To assist the project manager in carrying out the livestock sector activities.
• To keep the proper documentation for evidence
• To assist FDO procurement unit in procurement and distribution of livestock.
• Liable to perform any other associated duties as required under the same project by project

·             Preparation of weekly / monthly work plans against PMT (performance measured time frame) by ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks in stipulated time period.
·             Maintenance of hard record that includes field visits reports, CO meeting minutes, beneficiary data, assessment record, distribution record & other documentation.
·             Ensure appropriate beneficiary’s data collection & screening prior to making any transaction
·             Ensure proper filling of forms & formats as per desired standard
·             Extend support to MEAL / MIS / Communications staff for gathering desired information.
·             Ensure availability of up to date info in MIS on regular basis with consultation of MIS / M&E.
·             Close coordination with line manager for effective implantation of project activities.

·             In depth understanding of IR values and their demonstration in the field while working with communities.
·             Abide by the IR zero tolerance policy towards bribery & corruption through sensitization / empowerment of communities on coping mechanism so that they can raise voice as & when feel inappropriate.
·             Thorough knowledge of IR strategic priorities to ensure effective implementation with future sustainability.
·             Assist in identification & documentation of organizational successes for show casing IR work
·             Facilitate communities in adaptation of environment friendly & cost effective approaches to meet their current as well as future needs with specific attention to climate change.
·             Focused efforts to be made for mainstreaming of marginalized groups i.e. Persons with disability and old age, minorities, Women & children etc in consultation & implementation of project activities at ground.
·             Strengthen mechanism to Influence the decision makers through communities to pay attention towards DRR planning, give voice to suffering and the excluded, highlighting the protection needs of people.

·         Responsible for the collection of all data of Cash Grant Assistance (CGA) beneficiaries from field through CBDRM team members, community activities etc.
·         Submit analysis of collected data of CGA & to PM & HOO after initial verification by the M&E unit about duplication/Overlapping with AHSAAS Emergency Cash Program.
·         Coordinate with CBDRM team and will provide final list of beneficiaries to PM&HOO after field verification.
·         Responsible to coordinate and represent the CGA reports/data at different forums subject to approval from PM& HOO.
·         Follow up of CGA beneficiaries who received money and will update about status of beneficiary satisfactory level, use of CG and lesson learned if any.
·         Responsible to submit regular periods reports on CGA as required by PM&HOO.
·         Under the supervision of project manager, planning and implementation of interventions according to the programme guidelines and timelines reflected in DIP.
·         Develop linkages with government line departments, NGOs and private sector organizations to ensure that technical assistance to be provided by the line departments and private sector organization reaches the relevant community/beneficiaries.

This was the field work experience in Different union councils and a village of tehsil jampur as livestock assistant responsibilities includes:
• Visit the villages according to appointments and arrange meetings with community members.
• Organize a training day with the Livestock farmers give a detailed lectures on Livestock Managements includes cattle, Buffalo and rural poultry.
• Distribute the rural Poultry units among the Beneficiaries.
• Maintain a reports of all field work, Farmers Days, Trainings, Meetings, assessments and distribution records.
• Finalize all the records, analyze it and submit them through proper channel.

Responsibilities was included that Visit the dairy farms, Feed mills and market to provide the technical services on the farms and introduce the feed products to farms, Mills and Market.
Maintain a monthly report, invoices and arrange a meeting with Regional Manager.
