Position: Senior Engineer and coordinator Siyah Kalem Engineering Turkey.
Project: Construction of New Consulate General of Turkey at Karachi.
Responsibilities
• Preparing Technical documents and ensure that the work was carried in accordance to the drawings and specifications with Consultant approval.
• Coordinate with consultants, Project Manager and other technical teams in Head Office Istanbul Turkey regarding technical issues for ongoing installation and purchasing Electrical materials.
• Supervising and monitoring the installation work on site and allocating the work to individuals.
• Installation of PVC Conduits and Galvanized cable trays for Electrical Power, Internal Lighting, External lightings, Mechanical Equipment’s and LV System
• Making sure that the work has been carried out according to Technical Specifications and Approved drawings.
• Preparation of Electrical Procedures for Installation, test & commissioning of electric system.
• Installation of Hot dip Galvanized Earthing strips for Protection Earthing System and Installation of Operational Earthing Mesh type technique by using Cu conductor and Cu Rod connecting with Cad weld .
• Installation of External Lightening Surge Arrestor with 8 meter height and 79mt Protection radius all accessories like lightening counter, Test clamps, Protection pipe (3mt galvanized).
• Installation of Main MDP, SMDB, MCC, DB, Power Factor Corrector, Synchronization Panels.
• Installation, Test and Commissioning of Building Security system, Access Control System, CCTV, Fire alarm system, Telephone System, Data and Network System.
• Installation of 2 operational and standby 330 KVA Generator and 1000 KVA Voltage Regulator,30KVA,20KVA,10KVA,5KVA Ups system.
• Making application for 800KVA Transformer, Meetings with K electric officials for ongoing process and preparing Technical documents as per K electric Specifications. Test and commissioning of all HT, LT System with K electric Technical teams.

• Expert in AutoCAD to check the Layout / Section of Architectural, structural, Mechanical drawing for possible installation of electrical system.
• Design, analyse and propose modification of installation of electric system.
• Preparation of Electrical Procedures for Installation of PVC conduits, Cable trays.
• Installation of N2XH,NHXMH,N2XH FE 180 Cables for Main panels to subpanel, Power wiring, Lighting, Mechanical Equipment’s, Telephone System, Data and Network system, CCTV System, TV system Fire Alarm System,
• Good hand experience in installation of electrical System in multi stories and high raised building.
• Installation of Transformer, MDB, SMDB, DB. MCC, Lift Panels, External Lighting ,ATS panels, Power factor corrector, Voltage Regulator, 150 KVA generator, Bus Bars.
• Installation and commissioning of, rigid Bus Bar, Operational and Protection Earthing Systems.
• Attending meetings to solve technical issues regarding ongoing works.
• Estimation of required materials as per BOQ of project and make purchase order for further purchasing.

• Conducting the initial tests and inspections for the electrical items.
• Reporting the electrical work issues and solution to the project manager.
• Responsible for MEP Installation and test and commissioning of Electrical System.
• Development of single line diagrams and control schematics electrical equipment’s selection sizing and protection (Transformer, generator, motor, capacitor bank, ups etc.).
• Calculations of Cables, cable Sizing, Voltage drop calculation, Short Circuit Current calculation & Carrying Capacities of current in cables, Cable Trays Sizing.
• Performing Insulation Test, Continuity Test of HV, LV, cables, Panels and bus bar of electrical systems.
• Installation of Fire Alarm System, EVAC Systems, Disable Refuge System, Fireman Telephone System.
• Estimation of required materials and the required technical team for Installation of Electrical Systems.
• Coordinating with client, consultant, and contractor to ensure that all site works are done to all applicable quality standards.
• Attending meetings to solve technical issues.
