(a) Develops, maintains, and revises policies and procedures with MR for the general operation as necessary.
(b) Collaborates with departments to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution and Consulting with Top Management to resolve difficult legal compliance issues.
(c) Ensures that compliance Issues/concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved.
(d) Identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; assist respective department to develop corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provides general guidance for Preventive actions.
(e) Develops an effective compliance training program with HR, including general orientation for new employees.
(f) Monitors the performance of the Compliance Program and relates activities on a continuing basis, taking appropriate steps to improve its effectiveness.
(g) To assist MR in achieving and maintaining various ISO/other required certifications.
(h) To assist MR in communication of Policy to all stakeholders.
(i) To assist MR in identification of environmental aspects & impacts and site risk assessment.
(j) To assist the MR in development, implementation and supervision of EMS Objectives, Targets and their Management Program.
(k) To assist MR in identification of competence and training needs (TNA).
(l) Prepare the Annual Training Plans / schedules, in time execution and registration of training records.
(m) To assist MR in communication of environmental performance (internally / externally) with all stakeholders.
(n) Ensure proper Waste Handling Procedure is developed, implemented in place and records being maintained by the departments.
(o) Ensure periodically proper Environmental Monitoring conducted and results / records maintained accordingly.
(p) To assist MR in Collection of data, conduct, report / minutes of meeting follow-up, decision/proceedings of MRM

(1) QUALITY CONTROL LABORATORY:

• Testing of physical properties of Leather in accordance of different international and in-house methods.
• Testing of chemical properties of leather in accordance of different international and in-house methods.
• Testing of fastness properties of Leather in accordance of different international and in-house methods.
• Testing of incoming chemicals using standard methods to ensure the quality of receiving consignments such as sulfuric acid, formic acid, Oxalic acid, Caustic soda flakes, hydrated lime powder, soda ash, Busan 30L, Audocide 9448, Pelgrasol SP, Supralan-ON, basochrom-M40 & basochrom-33, brine salts powder, Leather dyes & pigments and other leather chemicals.
• Maintained quality control of wet blue leather for example soaking process, liming process, fleshing process, Deliming process, bating process, pickling process, tanning process, chrome fixing process etc.
• Maintaining the quality of recycled chrome salt.
• Testing of water using standard methods to ensure the quality of water for production, boiler and other applications.
• Understanding with the assessments of various results using the techniques of data and physical inspection.
• Understanding with the equipments and its maintenance.
• Manage all accessories that would be required to perform all above testing like
Press knives, grey scales, different fabrics and felts, reports cards, reagents and glasswares and the most itself a well manage Laboratory.
• Up-dating the procedures and data managements by using computer.
• Maintaining quality control reports

• Water softening and plant regeneration.
