Job Responsibilities
Develop an in- depth understanding of project documents (Project Proposal ) as well as business/DIP for planning & implementation of hygiene promotion activities.
Initial contacts and programme introduction of the project in the target community.
Conduct broad- based community meetings (BBCM)/ stakeholders workshops at the community level.
Conduct needs assessment/baseline/KAP surveys for data collection in the defined project areas.
Arrange and conduct health and hygiene promotion sessions specially focused on proper hand washing, safe excreta disposal, safe household water management and proper usage of latrine.
Encourage community involvement and participation in health and hygiene promotion through social mobilization as well as campaigning (Solid waste management, Hand Washing Day,  Clean water, vector control,food hygiene) etc.
Capacity building of communities on dealing with health and hygiene related diseases ( Skin, Water borne, Malaria, Dengue & Communicable diseases) by using local resources.
Capacity building of IR - field -based staff regarding updated health and hygiene education.
Responsible for designing hygiene sessions and IEC material as well as the development of manual and training modules .

Job Responsibilities

Implementation of project activities as per project document.
Social Mobilization, Baseline Surveys, and Need assessment.
Village/ Community Profiling.
Maintenance of daily water tracking record
Camp Management and monitoring of project activities in defined project areas.
Conduct health and hygiene sessions at camp/ villages and also distributed IEC material to participants.
Child protection sessions among children at TLC ( Temporary Learning Center).
Conduct Assessment and site identification for distribution of Hygiene kit, MHM kit to flood affected communities.
Regular follow up and monitoring of WASH activities at camp.
Facilitate in arrangement of Donor visit to project areas.
Prepare weekly, monthly work plans and reports.

Manage and oversee the implementation of WASH projects, ensuring compliance with environmental and social standards and best practices.
Facilitate community consultations and engagement activities to gather input, raise awareness, and promote ownership of WASH initiatives.
Conduct environmental impact assessments to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize negative effects on local ecosystems.
Analyze the social implications of WASH projects, ensuring equitable access and addressing the needs of marginalized groups.
Provide training and support to community members and local stakeholders on sustainable practices related to water management, sanitation, and hygiene.
Ehstablish monitoring frameworks to track project progress and outcomes, preparing reports for stakeholders that highlight achievements and challenges.

Engage with local communities to raise awareness about the new registration process for women by MRV (Mobile Registration Vehicle).
Organize community meetings and outreach events to inform women about the registration opportunities and procedures.
Collaborate with local authorities and organizations to coordinate the scheduling and routes of the MRV to ensure maximum accessibility for women in different areas.
Provide assistance and guidance to women regarding the required documents and eligibility criteria for registration
Address any concerns or questions raised by women regarding the registration process and ensure they feel comfortable and empowered to participate.
Follow up with registered women to ensure they receive their registration documents and understand their rights and responsibilities.
Monitor the progress of registration efforts and compile data on the number of women registered through the MRV.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address any barriers or challenges faced during the registration process.
Advocate for the inclusion and participation of marginalized or underserved groups of women in the registration initiative.
