I worked as an internee in (QAD) department at Peoples Steel Mills. This expanded my potential learning and skills as an engineer. I learned the rules and maintained the discipline of the working environment.
Key responsibilities
· To gain visual, practical and operational learning about steel making processes and their casting.
· To investigate and examine the performance of steel and alloys.
· To understand the properties and effects of alloying elements.
· To understand different specialized steel grades and their applications.
Key achievements
· My training enabled me to enhance my theoretical knowledge under the supervision of experienced engineers there.
· I also explored about non-destructive testings, their techniques and other testings of metals and alloys like hardness and fracture strength in testing laboratories.
