Mr.Ghulam Sarwar Chang is an independent development professional who has been working with several national and International organizations since last more than Six years in upper and lower parts of sindh and also in Baluchistan.
Mr. Ghulam Sarwar have done Masters in the department of Defense and Strategies Studies (DSS) from Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad in 2009, having Anthropology of Human Resources and Development as one of the course subject, dealing with the developmental and representative systems and structures from earliest cultures and civilizations to its continuity in the present times. Besides, I have courses on social development and security along with Conflict Analysis and Conflict Resolution from Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad, I have attended various training courses within country and advanced skills of computer and report writing.
Mr.Ghulam Sarwar have worked and can effectively work in any multi-layered and multicultural set-ups and in the field of project development, management, monitoring and evaluation and impact assessments, and a rich experience to work in Monitoring and Evaluation. I have strong analytical, negotiating, communication and advocacy skills plus well-developed organizational and the ability to work independently in an organized manner and as a member. The strong writing, presentation, group facilitation, training and research skills are his key strengths. I have conducted different training such as Disaster Risk Reduction, Business and Enterprise developments, Hygiene Promotion, CLTS, mobilization and have a command on written English, Urdu and other regional languages.
An Innovative model-community action to curb violence against women and girls program still is ongoing in district Nawabshsh. At district level this program is purely is leading by partner organization Shah Sachal Sami Foundation and Mr Ghulam sarwar on the behalf of Shah Sachal Sami foundation working as a project coordinator and performed following job responsibilities at district shaheed Benazirabad
Responsibilities:
• To prepared staff monthly plan, weekly plan for smoothly execution of program activities
• To maintained record keeping and get computerized data of “ community actions to curb violence against women and girls project”
• Arranged events, community meetings, dialogues, seminars, forums, monthly review and planning meeting, training of community activists, Training of Nikhah Khawans and Govt officials.
• Prepared forms for various training and data summaries and perform data entry of feedback forms for various training and lobbing meetings at district level.
• Assisted program team in data collection and reporting evidences against the activities completed at district level and submitted to donor partner on timely
• Coordinated trainings with community activists, community groups, government officials, LHWs, Nikkah khawans, religious leaders, CSOs, CBOs, Journalist and member of parliamentarians for their inclusion, and participation during different program activities.
• Ensured participation in the monthly and quarterly review planning meetings and ensure participation of the CBOs of the district in this program.
• Strengthend the role and capacity of government departments working on women rights and child rights through training and refresher courses

Innovative model-community actions to curb violence against women and girls program. Through this program enhanced social and collective action in local communities to detect, prevent and respond to VAW&G, especially domestic violence and forced marriages. In addition, survivors of the VAWG have enhanced access to justice and safety through response services (referral and adherence to applicable laws.) Through strong mobilization at community level some measures to prevent and act against domestic violence and forces marriages and early marriages in district Shaheed Benazirabad.

Citizens Voice Project Assisted by USAID on importance of local Government System. On the behalf of implementing partner Shah Sachal Sami Foundation (SSSF). Mr. Ghulam Sarwar Chang joined as a Project Coordinator District Nawabshah based. The project Consist of three components all of which had implement by the SSSF project staff such like, 1 mobilization of project resources, 2 engagement with stakeholders, and 3.educating citizens on the local government system. Each component and its respective activities and implementing procedure and Mr. Sarwar performing following main responsibilities:

Funded by Caritas Germany, Caford grants for WASH program. Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is implemented by (Early Recovery in Response to the 2010 flood Emergency Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Promotion Intervention) On behalf of the implementing partner Goth Seengar Foundation (GSF). Mr. Ghulam Sarwar was part of this WASH program from February 26, 2012 to end of March 2014 and performed following duties.
Job Responsibilities:
•Supervised 22 fields, Operation including program, finance and administration staff and providing facilitation to field staff regarding smooth implementation of project activities.
•Designed, followed and managed a plan to monitor the project activities on regular basis.
•Prepared weekly, monthly work plans and progress reports.
•Developed village profiles of the targeted villages in targeted communities.
•Prepared WASH assessment tools and conduct WASH assessment keeping the gender vulnerability in the targeted villages in order to identify WASH-related health risks, priorities and plan strategies for behavioral change.
•Developed the training manual/contents for Water and Sanitation Committees at village level.
•Provided inputs to the technical team for preparing drawings, specifications, and BOQs in accordance with local needs and acceptability.

In response to the flood 2010 in Pakistan, in 2011 UNDP carried out early recovery efforts/ community restoration of basic critical infrastructure activities including support for livelihood security and restoration and ensure the inclusion of the stakeholders. Through call for proposal, 18 implementing partners were selected to executive the early recovery in the North Sindh and Baluchistan with coverage of 1517 village, 94 Union Councils in 10 District severely affected notified by N/PDMA. While AMRDO worked as a partner organization in this implementing phase and I am also part of AMRDO Jacobabad team and perform following activities.

Supported formulation of project strategies and the implementation plan of AMRDO project funded by UNDP (ERP) focusing on achievement of the following results:
• Collection, analysis and presentation of information for identification of areas for support and project formulation/ implementation and for preparation of reports.

On the request of Pakistan Government Health and Nutrition Development Society (HANDS) with the Coordination and Communication of United Nations Higher Commissions for Refugees (UNHCR) launched the disaster assistance activities with establishing Tent City at sukkur for IDP’s. Mr. Ghulam Sarwar served as a Camp Manager and performed following duties:

• Coordinated camp management and community mobilization project activities.
• Coordinated humanitarian assistance provided by other non-governmental organizations (NGO), UN agencies, government institutions and private donors.
• Overseen Physical planning and organization camp to ensure proper arrangement of IDP’s in terms of shelter, sanitation and water facilities.
• Conducted health and hygiene awareness sessions among IDP’s on regular basis.
• Established a coordination and information system and mechanism among IDP’s, humanitarian agencies and government institutions.
• Planned and organized camp management cluster meetings and represented HANDS/UNHCR in similar meetings with other agencies and institutions.
• Overseen activities at IDP’s at Community Centre as well as the monitoring and protection of most-vulnerable groups.
• Ensured timely production and submission of narrative reports (situation reports, monthly and quarterly) to District Manager HANDS.
