With over 14 years of field global experience in Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Protection and Migration has equipped with a strong background in case management project management, particularly with GBV mainstreaming initiatives with UN agencies and civil societies . Through my work experience this has strengthened my passion and commitment to this field, particularly in understanding the root causes of GBV, advocating for gender equality and child protection. With excellent communication skills and as an innovative problem solver, I have successfully managed programs, drafting strategies and proposals looking at creative solutions, on time and within budget. I have worked directly with migrant refugee communities particularly with women and children, implementing GBV and Child Protection (CP) trainings and community-based activities based on participatory consultations with the community. My aim is to enhance empowerment and resilience initiatives for marginalized communities through a gender transformative approach to programming and policy change.
Responsible for reviewing, monitoring and reporting of the field activities conducted in the implementation districts. Further carrying out regular field monitoring visits to the project sites according to the comprehensive M&E Plan and will ensure that all Program activities are being carried out in line with the operational and M&E guidelines along with supporting the Program Coordinator for day-to-day grant management.
During this short-term job, I have conducted and supervised 5 training events and assessed instructional effectiveness and summarized evaluation reports determining the impact of training.
Responsible for implementing Camp Coordination and Camp Management and Humanitarian Communications programme activities, roll out capacity building training and develop monitoring and evaluation system for the projects. The primary focuses of work remained on CCCM and HComms training – training package review and provide support HComms project staff in the implementation of activities in the field. Duties include the development of appropriate qualitative and quantitative assessment methodologies to ensure proper implementation of policies and strategies according to the framework of the project; development of assessment tools; planning and conducting learning assessments; data analysis, the collection of stake holder’s feedback; designing and conducting surveys; monitoring of project activities.
As an M&E assistant, I have conducted door to door verification of beneficiaries (flood-affected people 2011-2012) for the distribution of NFIs. Involved in the pre, post and during distribution activities of the field. Assisted Programme Coordinator in designing data collection tools, developing a monitoring plans, conducting training of enumerators and preparing monitoring reports and case studies.
Responsible for the coordination of overall project activities and managing field teams at the provincial level. The role included overseeing day-to-day operations of Project Implementation Units in Qambar Shahdadkot, Dadu, Thatta, and Sujawal and supervises administrative and operational functions within the areas.
