Manage obstetric emergencies identify cases needing referral and send them intime, cleanup the newborn, executing and registering (cutting and cleaning,umbilicalcord,vaccination,etc.),detecting possible anomalies/infections of newborn andreporting them to supervisor, in order to ensure successfulinterventions.-Properly followup all newborn babies and mothers from delivery unit to discharge informing mothers and relatives about importance of breastfeeding, vaccination and possible complications resulting from harmful traditional practices. Perform properly nutritional screening of pregnant and lactatingwomen.
