My job as the sole accounts officer at the Gulberg Branch of the organisation covers a team of sales and marketing agents. My duties here includes record maintenance, keeping an up-to-date record of vouchers, receipts and every file and payment plan issued to clients. I am also responsible for bookkeeping done on Google Spreadsheet, recording transactions, entries and account payables and receivables. I also maintain an appropriate level of petty cash, whilst handling all the expenses. At month end I am required to prepare the income statement, financial position of receivables and payables and cash flows to report to the management, along with routine reconciliations between balance in bank statements and cash book. Other than the above resposibilities, I am also tasked with routine payment recoveries from clients and performing basic administrative duties.
