Having almost Eight years of experience, I am currently working as Admin Finance Officer at Aga Khan Health Services, Pakistan.
I have worked as Field Finance Controller at Economic Transformation Initiative Gilgit Baltistan, a Development Program of Govt. of Gilgit-Baltistan, Co funded by International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and Senior Associate Audit Assurance at Prime Global, Naveed Zafar Ashfaq Jaffery Co Chartered Accountants. During my period at Prime Global, Naveed Zafar Ashfaq Jaffery Co Chartered Accountants, I have gained diverse experience encompassing all areas of auditing, assurance, taxation, and accounting related services. Major assignments on which I worked include Karakorum Cooperative Bank Limited (KCBL), Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), Trillium Pakistan (Private) Limited, US Aid projects like SPPAP , SHcGP, NRSP Projects etc.
I have hands-on experience working with Microsoft Office, Accounting Software Packages like ERP, Quick books, Peachtree, Manager, MIS Software Applications like U Bank Plus , Tompro.
Accounts and Finance:
· Verify the Scheme Management Teams (SMTs) financial record keeping i.e. preparation of Receipt and Payments summary and to report any deviation.
· Preparation of Payroll and ensuring proper disbursement of salaries and other benefits as per employee’s and consultants’ contracts.
· Assist community procurement of goods and services as per IFAD guidelines and PPRA.
· Assist in preparation of all necessary documents for tenders (RFQs) as per PPRA and IFAD guidelines.
· Prepare and executive weekly or monthly verification of SMTs Financial Record Schedule.
· Liaison with Engineering Team and relevant department for upcoming Payments.
· Preparation of Monthly Field Cash/ Funds Forecast.
· Assist Regional Manager finance in generation of Funds Requisition from Program Coordination Unit PCU.
· Prepare and executive weekly or monthly Labor Payment Schedule.
Accounts payable, non-grant payments
· Pre-audit the vendor payments and prepare payment summary for review.
· Process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
· Use monthly bank/cash books, timesheets, grantee invoices for invoicing.
· Submit the monthly reports for internal review.
Audit
· Coordinating with internal auditors as well as external auditors as required.
Being Senior Associate Audit & Assurance in the Audit and Business Assurance Services (ABAS) of Naveed Zafar Ashfaq Jaffery & Co, Islamabad office as a member firm of Prime Global International, I have gained diversified professional experience as an auditor by working in all facets of audit and related engagements i.e. from initial planning to the conclusion of examination and reporting thereon.
Responsibilities:
· Planning and risk assessments.
· Developing audit programs and preparation of audit working papers.
· Leading team as job in charge and helping & couching the team members through providing guidance and assistance.
· Coordination with professional of various fields like Legal, Actuarial and IT Experts and decision making for resolution of critical reportable matters.
· Advising the clients on activities to address the risks management activities and compliance to policies and procedures.
· Leading and management of field work on clients, liaising with other departments to ensure smooth delivery of the audit process.
· Reviewed IT policies and disaster recovery plans, data encryption, backups, and soft controls.
